ZillowVERIFIED As out of state buyers looking to vet some realtors, we reached out to Zillow and got to Teresa. She was less than desirable in her performance as a realtor managing the expectations of both sides. Her anxiety and stress with a high dollar transaction such as ours was a daily conversation. At one point, she even claimed that she has fiduciary duty to 'both' sides - a comment that is unusual to come from a realtor. Beware of Teresa offering rebates to get your transaction deal. She offered us one in the initial call knowing our purchase intention, confirmed it through texts and phone calls. Just before closing, she chose to remain silent of this offer and then blamed it on a "misunderstanding" after the deal closed. Her broker stepped in to resolve through a 3-way conference call, but Teresa refused to attend. We felt misled and saw this as predatory practice. Please vet 2-3 realtors before you find one and not repeat our mistake.
