I contacted Teresa months before we got to Altus and she was hands down the most personable person I have come across in this town. Her knowledge of the area and the surrounding towns was so beneficial while I was looking for our home. Teresa would update me weekly while I was still in California and we had several conversations about homes we may want to purchase. When I talked to Teresa I always felt like an old friend not just a client. The day we arrived in Altus we contacted Teresa and hit the ground running. The house was in pretty bad shape and she basically took the role of general manager on my behalf to fix the house up so it was ready to sell. She new the local businesses and contractors and got the work finished quickly. I left it all up to her and she was the best. Once the house was ready to list, she handled the listing expertly and in just over two months we had a contract. Keep in mind, I had never even met her. She was amazing. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable and hard working real estate agent.

She was very patient and helpful, and I think we must have spent at least a week straight of calling her and "virtual" house hunting with her. Long story made short, we placed our earnest money on a house we fell in love with over the Internet, and we have to give Teresa credit for most of that! She was also very good at directing us through the entire process, since this was the first home we've ever bought. We found Teresa online and decided to contact her in hopes that she could help us find a home. My husband will be retiring in a few years so we decided to buy a house knowing that we would be sticking around a while.No only was Teresa very prompt in her responses but she worked with us closely. She pulled houses she thought we would like and that would meet our needs and she worked with my father-in-law who would drive up to look at houses. She practically did everything for us including taking pictures of the house that we ended up buying. If you want someone who is going to tell you how it is and not sugar coat things then Teresa is the realtor for you. She is very honest and will give you every opportunity to make a good deal on a house. She can also recommend a great mortgage broker which helped a lot.

She helps her clients even after the closing. I had an issue with the home I just recently purchased. The day we moved in we had no hot water; apparently the hot water heater that was given a stamp of approval just 3 weeks earlier by the inspector had gone out. Neither the listing realtor (different agency) nor the seller was willing to take any responsibility for it. So here I am with a new home, new to the area and sick with Bronchitis not knowing what to do, so I called Teresa. By the end of the day she had a plumber at the house trying to fix it. The end result was not good; it could not be repaired but instead needed to be replaced. Unfortunately as many of you know that after purchasing a home you do not always have a whole lot of pocket change left once you have paid for the moving trucks and the deposits that are required for utilities and such. This is what a great person Teresa is, she went out and purchased a hot water heater (a good brand at that) and had it delivered to my house by the plumbers and all I had to do was pay the install. It was one of those true WOW moments in my life. It is so rare in todays world to meet people such as Teresa that actually will put other people before herself. She made the purchase of my new home a great experience even with it one setback; Teresa always has a positive, upbeat attitude that made me feel I was in good hands. She said that she would love to show me some properties and when I called and said that I was in town she was not interested in showing me any properties. Said if I wanted to drive by one or two of the properties and I really wanted to see them to call her. I have trained hundreds of sales people and if one acted as disinterested as she did when I called I would fire them.
