Hey!! My name is Tein Hlwa...Pronounced Tane. I know the last name is very tough to pronounce so no worries on that but I am a local real estate professional with eXp Realty serving the Hampton Roads area. More importantly though, I am someone who enjoys building relationships, both in business and in life. I come from a background of hard work and dedication. I'm a former Marine so I carry myself with pride and integrity. I've done jobs from roofing to door to door marketing to running a service department in IT industry which led me to learn my true purpose...That is to help others. To me real estate transactions can be one of the biggest and most stressful transactions people will go through in their life and no one should ever feel pressured into doing something they don't like or want. I've been on that side of a transaction where I felt I was just a number to another salesman and that is actually what made me decide on becoming a real estate agent. I wanted to change the industry with my approach to relationships over transactions. I have been helping people buy and sell homes for over 3 years now. We've sold over 100+ homes during that time frame through out digital marketing methods. I have also made some great friends throughout the process. Friends that I still keep in touch with and there is no better feeling than helping someone with the biggest transaction of their life. Relationships are the foundation of trust. If there is one thing I can attribute to success, it is understanding that having a relationship is always more important than doing a deal. I try to embody that mentality every day beyond all else. So, though I'd be honored to be your agent, I aspire to be a friend.
