Mario Desantis

I'm the founder and team lead of Desantis Realty Group, a boutique real estate team serving Santa Cruz County and the greater Central Coast.

I built this team on a simple belief: buying or selling a home is one of the most important financial decisions a person makes, and it deserves to be handled with care, precision, and genuine partnership. Since founding the team, we've helped 200+ families and closed $200M+ in sales - recognized with the Tom Ferry Under 30 Award and the Coldwell Banker International President's Premier Award.

Born and raised in Altamura, in the Puglia region of southern Italy, I came to Santa Cruz for its coastline, redwoods, and close-knit community, and built my practice on the values I grew up with - what my family calls "The Italian Way": thoughtful, high-touch service where every detail is anticipated. I speak English, Spanish, and Italian, and work with clients at every price point.

For sellers, I lead a modern, marketing-driven approach - professional photography, cinematic property video, digital and social campaigns, and targeted print - while personally overseeing pricing, preparation, and negotiation. For buyers, especially first-time buyers, relocations, and clients new to the area, I offer honest guidance, deep local knowledge, and access to our trusted network of lenders, inspectors, and advisors.

Above all, I see real estate as a long-term relationship and a tool for building lasting wealth. Whether you're buying your first home, selling a longtime property, or making your next move across Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, or Monterey counties, my goal is to leave you more informed, more confident, and better guided than when we started.

Let's connect - I'd welcome the chance to talk through your goals.
