Tano was absolutely wonderful to work with. We had been searching over 8 months for the perfect place and I refused to settle for a lateral move from the place I have lived for the last 5 years. When I saw the property my SO and I just happened to be in the area because we were looking at 2 other properties that day, just a 30 minute window I that we would have missed if Tano hadnt been so kind as to let me in and view. Hes part of the reason the stars aligned that day - I had only found the property 3 hours before the open house that morning and, as soon as I walked in, the feeling that this was the place for us just grew. Tano was very thorough and welcoming, every interaction was polite and respectful. After so many months and so many property tours, we felt like weve dealt with the whole spectrum of property managers, but Tano was the most understanding and engaged. Throughout the entire process our many questions were always answered quickly and thoroughly. He normally does house buying/selling - managing rentals is not normally what he does if I understand correctly - so we lucked out big time, but if you have the opportunity to work with him? Run. Dont walk. Finding a kind, well rounded property manager in NYC can be like finding a needle in a needlestack of needles, but hes knowledgeable, polite, and great to have on your side when navigating the complex world of property. I would love to work with him again if he hadnt already helped me get into my new home already, so I recommended him to my mother instead as shes in the market for the same area he works around.
