I interviewed several realtors/brokers and researched dozens more. To say I'm picky would be a bit of an understatement. However, once you hire a realtor, you are entrusting them hundreds of thousands of dollars in property if not more. To not be picky about your realtor is to be truly foolish. Tamra Provines owns and operates her own independent brokerage, Own Real Estate, and is therefore not representing some bloated real estate corporation who has their hand in everybodys pocket, particularly the buyers and sellers. She has developed a wonderful website and uses all the tools of the real estate trade including social media and the tried and true aEURoeold schoolaEUR? methods. Different buyers are attracted by different stimuli based upon age and technical savvy. She uses them all to bring as many buyers to the table as possible. Its exactly what a realtor should do and what a seller needs. I also truly appreciate her listing agreement is not 30 pages long, but more like 4 pages. It is clear, comprehensive, and fair to both parties. How often do you encounter that type of unabashed honestly and forthrightness in todays business world. It is like a breath of fresh air. Tamra Provines has additional character attributes that make her an asset as your realtor. Shes honest. She will tell you if something needs to be fixed, changed, or not worth the money to modify. Shes highly intelligent. She knows the market, she knows the neighborhoods, she does the research, and she definitely knows what buyers and sellers want. Her intellectual acumen will serve you well when negotiating and making decisions about listing or buying a home. When going into negotiations she comes armed with all the facts, employs reason, and can make a very decidedly persuasive case for her client. Shes charming. A definite asset when dealing with the buyers, sellers, lenders, appraisers, and other realtors. Never confuse smooth talk with charm or intelligence. The person who parlays charm and intelligence in a business deal constantly hits the mark, while the other fumbles and blusters. Most realtors can dish out the smooth talk like a well-seasoned used car salesman. Thats not what you want when selling or investing in property worth so much money. Choose a realtor with integrity, brains, and charm who is truly committed to representing you as the buyer or seller. You couldnt ask to have a better person than Tamra Provines on your side.
