Review I was fortunate to learn about Tammy Petit from a design client of mine. We had listed our home with another agent and we saw little action or follow up. Finally, we took it off the market. Having been a realtor in another state, I wanted an agent who would be detail oriented, strategic, and tenacious -- reaching out to showing agents, getting feedback, advising us on small items that make a big difference to some buyers. Great advice: Fresh staging, minor repairs, addressing structural and infrastructure with documentation -- roof, HVAC, appliances, etc. Proactivity: Tammy reached out to agents and learned that our price was a bit high based on a market downturn. Review I would highly recommend Alexis Petit. She was amazing during our house hunting process in an incredibly aggressive market. Buying a home was a family decision which included my kids. She was very patient with us during the process and was very flexible to accommodate all of us. She was professional, friendly and helpful. By the end of the buying process, we wanted to adopt her into our family. Not only did she handle the big details, she did the little ones that really made a difference. She would bring snacks for my kids and attended the inspections to make sure the right questions were asked. Not that I want to move anytime in the near future but will use use Alexis when we do. Review Tammy and her staff at the Meridian Group were exceptional throughout our home sale and purchase process! We made the decision to pursue her services after much debate and background research. We looked at several options, including using our long-time agent with a well-known agency, pursuing the new flat fee listing services and contracting with a broker/owner agency. Each has compelling upside and downside. We had a long-term relationship with our current agent, however the agent was limited based on corporate policies and the real estate market has simply outgrown this approach. The name recognition existed with this well-known agency, however we had mixed results over the years. The new, trendy flat fee services look compelling on the surface, but are extremely flawed as you get into the terms and below average service. The flat fee model is focused on quantity, not quality. In contrast to the above, Tammy is a broker/owner, which gives her the freedom to put a plan together that fits the needs of each client. She took the time to listen to our past experiences, including the likes and dislikes. Her attention to detail was evident from our first meeting. She fact checked our research and provided additional details we over looked. Her staff was exceptionally responsive and although our relationship was new, we felt like long-term clients. Every property and client are different. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, which is why we recommend Tammy and the Meridian Group. We are so pleased and know you will be too.

Specifically her knowledge of her area and the overall housing market helped us to quickly sell our home, which at the time was a rental property for us. She idenfitied that our home was ideal for many buyers who did not have much to choose from and suggested we list with her. While maintaining our tenant she got the house listed, shown over 2 dozen times, and recieved 2 offers (including one over asking) within 1 week of the home being on the market. Review Tammy is the Meridian Group Real Estate broker that helped us find our home in Elizabeth. Tammy took us to all the homes we wanted to see in the short time frame we had to locate and make the purchase. Once we chose the home to make our offer on, we were able to get the sellers counter offer and submit our counter offer all in the same evening. By the end of dinner, we were under contract with the seller.
