She would give us weekly updates of houses that would come to the market, she would do comparison analysis of houses my wife and I were interested, if we couldn?t come to an open house she would go on our behalf and video chat us; Shanna would always find time, no matter what time of the day to answer questions we had. Sven himself answered and within a few minutes of talking to him about the area we were looking at and some of the features/criteria we had, we knew he would be a great fit for us. Andersen Realty operates as a team, which means we worked with several people in his group throughout the buying process. Ryan was our main day-to-day Realtor and was fantastic. As the buyers of the home he had listed, we were very impressed with his sales strategy and negotiating skills. We ended up meeting him again shortly after as hes very active in our community, and hes been so helpful and a great resource for any questions weve had (since we were new to town). So this year, when our parents home in Medford was going to be put on the market due to the passing of my father-in-law, we thought of Sven first for listing the house. After interviewing a few realtors, we were only more certain that Sven had the best sales and marketing strategy and the best team in place both to make the selling process easy, especially during a difficult time, and also to get us the most money possible for the house. And we were right! Sven and his team did an excellent job selling our home. Sven walked us through what updates could get us the most money in return, and the house ended up selling for $50,000 over list price (which was actually $125,000 over what all the agents thought the house would sell for without doing any updates). We firmly believe that Svens ability to strategically price and market a home is unparalleled. Add to that how organized and helpful his team is every step of the way, and you just love the Andersen Group all the more. They make it all so so easy. We had been searching on our own for about a year, and had been a little discouraged. After showing some interest in the place, but being slightly hesitant about certain things, she told us this doesnt sound like the place for you, I wouldnt recommend something that youre not in love with. We left there with a sense of security, feeling like we did not make a bad decision by not buying the house. But the more we thought about it, the more we realized that Marie was incredibly honest with us, even when she was in a position of selling. This was a trait that I was surprised to find in such a cut throat environment. We knew from that moment that if she was honest with us when we werent even her clients, then we would be able to trust her going forward. We signed her up to be our agent, and the process immediately became easier. We had a bit of a unique situation, due to my husband accepting a new job on the West Coast and needing to move quickly. Sven and Kelly met us on short notice, on a holiday weekend, and immediately put us at ease. They handled everything from arranging for house cleaners to getting quotes for perspective buyers for converting the upstairs office to a third bedroom. They also did a fantastic job marketing our home, staging our home beautifully and producing top notch photos and a video tour.Once we had accepted an offer, Sven and Prescott went above and beyond to ensure a successful closing. Since we were no longer in the area, Prescott drove over at least a half dozen times to take care of things. He resolved home inspection issues, coordinated with plumbers and the town to resolve a low water pressure issue, worked with the fire department to perform the smoke detector inspection, and even adjusted the thermostats for us during a cold spell. Keeping in touch with us each step of way, from the initial offer to the purchase and sale to home inspection and appraisal, we were absolutely confident that everything would be well handled.We had a great experience with Sven and his team and would strongly recommend them to anyone interested in the area.
