Suzanne Gwaltney

Suzanne Gwaltney is an Eastern North Carolina native with a lifelong appreciation for Pamlico County and the exceptional waterfront lifestyle it offers. As a child, she spent countless days at Kennels Beach with her family, enjoying boating, fishing, and the beauty of the majestic Neuse River. Today, that same love for the area inspires her passion for helping buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals.

A graduate of East Carolina University, Suzanne earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling, and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Counselor Education. She began her professional career serving the judicial systems of Carteret, Craven, and Pamlico Counties before spending the final six years of her 30-year counseling career as a School Counselor with Pamlico County Schools. Following her retirement from education in 2005, Suzanne joined CENTURY 21 Sail/Loft Realty . Suzanne and her husband Larry Gwaltney own and operate the oldest real estate firm serving Oriental and Pamlico County.

With more than 20 years of successful real estate experience, Suzanne has earned numerous honors for outstanding sales performance and exceptional client service. She is a proud recipient of multiple CENTURY 21 CENTURIONA(R) Awards and has achieved CENTURIONA(R) Honor Society status, recognizing sustained excellence among the top-producing professionals in the CENTURY 21 System. She has also received multiple Quality Service Awards, reflecting her unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional client experience.

Suzanne is actively involved in the real estate profession through the National Association of REALTORSA(R), the North Carolina Association of REALTORSA(R), and the Neuse River Region Association of REALTORSA(R). She is a Past President of the Pamlico County Board of REALTORSA(R) and has built an outstanding reputation for her market knowledge, integrity, and dedication throughout the Inner Banks communities of Eastern North Carolina.

Committed to serving her community, Suzanne has contributed her time and leadership to numerous organizations, including the Oriental Woman's Club, Hodges Education Foundation, the Camp Sea Gull/Camp Seafarer Outreach Committee, the Pamlico County Partnership for Children Board of Directors, the Pamlico County Criminal Justice Partnership, and as adjunct faculty for Wesleyan College and Craven Community College.
