Preparation and pricing are the two most important factors in a successful sale. Homes that are properly prepared and priced correctly from the start consistently sell faster and for stronger prices than those that are not.
I work closely with my sellers to evaluate the current market, review comparable sales, and determine a pricing strategy that attracts serious buyers. I also guide them through preparing the home so it shows at its best — from staging suggestions to small improvements that can make a meaningful difference in buyer perception.
Marketing is another critical component. Today’s buyers begin their search online, so professional photography, strong digital exposure, and strategic marketing are essential. My goal is always to position the home to stand out, generate strong interest, and negotiate the best possible outcome for my client.
Over my nearly 30 years in real estate, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients including first-time buyers, move-up buyers, sellers, investors, waterfront property owners, and homeowners downsizing to their next chapter.
Many of my clients are local families who are relocating within Ocean County, while others are moving to the area from different parts of New Jersey or out of state. I also frequently assist clients with estate sales, senior transitions, and coordinating the sale of long-time family homes.
Because much of my business comes from referrals and repeat clients, I often work with multiple generations of the same families. That trust means a great deal to me, and I approach every transaction with the goal of providing guidance, clear communication, and the highest level of service possible.
One transaction that stands out involved helping a homeowner sell a property they had owned for many years. The home held a lot of personal memories, so it was important that the process felt smooth and respectful of that history.
We began by carefully preparing the home for the market and developing a pricing strategy based on recent comparable sales and current buyer demand. With the right preparation and marketing in place, the home generated strong interest shortly after hitting the market.
Throughout the transaction, I coordinated closely with the buyer’s agent, attorneys, inspectors, and lenders to keep everything moving forward smoothly. In the end, the sale closed successfully and the seller was able to move on to the next chapter with confidence.
