So in 2020 it was an easy decision to have Susan also sell our home. The COVID pandemic had just started so nobody really knew how this was going to affect the real estate market. Our home took a little longer but we got a good price for it. Susan is a realtor who made the difficult process of selling our home much easier than it could have been. My wife and I dealt with Susan often during the course of a 3-4 months and her service and network of supporting professionals was unparalleled. She solved problems, helped us with staging and recommended services. She exceeded expectations at every level. We have no issues recommending her to help buy or sell a home.

Susans presentation was the least glossy, and the most accurate. She predicted and delivered a higher selling price than any of her colleagues, and her estimate was surpassed. She handled many of the details in preparing the property for sale, far more than one might expect. She kept her cool when some actors on the other side of the deal began to lose their wits. She is smart, industrious, patient, wise. A real gem.

ZillowVERIFIED I had a challenging property to sell. It had a gorgeous view, yet the house needed work and the septic needed replacement tho it was in working fine. Susan knew how to handle it and who to call for bids and estimates. She hung in there when the going was tough with the conservation boards and board of healths indecisions. it took awhile but all came through. She is also very resourceful being Cape Codder herself and has a great sense of humor!

ZillowVERIFIED I?ve had the pleasure of working with Susan on the purchase and sales of four different properties. Susan, in my opinion is one of the most talented real estate agents in the area. She has extreme knowledge in all aspects of real estate. On all occasions, I have felt that I have gotten the best deal on the sale or purchase of the property. Susan definitely has your best interest throughout the process. In my most recent purchase with Susan, I bought a foreclosure with the intent to renovate and sell in the future. The process was very tedious and on a strict schedule with the timing of different aspects of the sale. Susan and ERA were right on the ball all the way to the end by working endless hours and making sure all the boxes were checked in a timely manner. Susan was a great person to lean on regarding advise with this purchase due to her own personal experience with renovations and resales. Susan has a great network of people in all fields having to do with home sales, from mortgage references, to septic, electricians, plumbers, etc. Whenever I have referenced Susan when reaching out to these individuals, they have had nothing but the utmost respect for her as an individual and professional. If your looking for your best option to either buy or sell, look no further!! I will continue to work with Susan in the future.

ZillowVERIFIED Susan Dean helped us through a long distance property sale of my elderly mothers home. She helped us through 8 months until the property sold. She had a complete network that allowed us to have plumbing, roofing, cleaning, legal, and title 5 septic work comleted. She stopped by the house regularily to make sure no damage, or pipe problems. She stopped by during repairs to solve problems and report on progress. I unequivocally believe she worked harder than any real estate agent I have ever worked with period. Normally I am quite reserved in my reviews. In this case, I have no reservations. This real estate agent earns her commission. Note! This was NOT a high priced home! All of this work and effort was for a modest home nowhere near the water.

ZillowVERIFIED I had to sell my elderly fathers house on Cape Cod. I live 125 miles away and did not know how to handle it. I called three local realtors to come and see the house. Susan was very impressive with her knowledge of the area and and assessing the home. That was in Sept. of 2017. My father got ill and went into a nursing home near my home. Susan stuck with me while we had to clean out his house. It had mold all over the basement and she gave me the name of three mold remediation companies. We got the right person through her. They did a GREAT job. During the winter a storm knocked down a tree that went through the roof and into the ceiling of the master bedroom. She was there the day after the storm and notified me of it. She got the roof repaired and the ceiling in the bedroom re-plastered, all within a few days! Susan had a potential buyer even before we listed the house! It was a great experience for me to work with Susan, especially that I was not there do the the mileage between my house and my Dads. ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I met Susan at an open house this past February, while casually getting a sense of the Cape real estate market, with the intention of purchasing a small summer/rental property. While we opted not to pursue the property she had the open house for, we did immediately decide to work with Susan, as we found her to be genuine, personable, and extremely knowledgeable about the area, particularly in regards to a propertys rent-ability, based on its location, which was an important factor for our planned purchase. The five stars I gave her, above, for her knowledge, responsiveness, and expertise, are absolutely warranted. If you could give 6 stars, I would. Where Susan truly shined,though, was through her advocacy on our behalf as a buyers broker. We had found a property we were very interested in, and following a very thorough home inspection and several other more focused inspections, found issues we felt could impact our going through with the sale. Susan could sense some hesitation on our part, due to the nature of the issues, and rather than placating us with the hope of making the sale, she went the other way, and supported our concerns by addressing the listing agent and the seller with what we found, and shared her concern that the issues could (and probably should) derail the transaction, if not resolved as a condition of the sale. She invested a tremendous amount of time with us, at all hours, any day of the week, to answer questions, do walk-throughs of properties we couldnt get to (and report back to us with her recommendation NOT to pursue those she saw had issues). We ultimately found the right house, and her negotiating on our behalf was critical in getting the price to where we wanted it, and her assistance with documentation throughout a nightmare loan approval process, helped keep it on track to close on the date originally scheduled. If you are looking to buy or sell in the Mid-Cape area, there are many great realtors to work with. If you are lucky enough to work with Susan, you will be working with one of the best the Cape has.
