ZillowVERIFIED I worked with Susan on both a buy and sell transaction and was less than pleased with the service I received from Susan. Susan was slow in communicating and I felt, not engaged with either transaction. I had to have several conversations with her about her lack of communication and attention to my transactions. In addition, I felt she did not fully represent me and my best interests in the negotiation process. She was also very ambiguous about the commission structure and her willingness to work with me in light of the fact that I gave her two separate transactions in a short period of time. Whether with phone conversations or face-to-face meetings, it all had to be done at her convenience and all coordination and communication with contractors had to be done by myself. Bottom line, the only stress I felt through both transactions was working with Susan.

ZillowVERIFIED I would not recommend using this group for your real estate needs. Susan showed us one home, which we purchased. She often made it seem as if she was inconvenienced in doing her job and we did not feel as if she had our best interest in mind. She often downplayed our concerns and encouraged us to settle with the things we were not satisfied with. She did not follow through to ensure the agreed upon corrections were completed. She was not present during closing and had the key to our new home left under a rock when she knew we would be out of town for a few days unable to retrieve it. A closing gift was mentioned but never delivered. Overall, the experience was very disappointing and in hindsight I would have chosen another realtor upon the first few red flags.

ZillowVERIFIED Worst experience I have ever had with a real estate agent. I've bought and sold 4 houses in my lifetime. I felt she wasn't representing me in my best interest. I meet her once and talked to here on the phone for 15 minutes. She was telling me to sell my house lower than what I wanted and telling me just take a loss and chalk your loss up to experience. I was really offended and decided I didn't want her to represent me anymore. I told her to release my contact,. She refused and told me that I signed a six month contract with her, so basically I'm stuck with her whether I like or not. I offered to pay her for her for time with me, but she refused. I talked to other real estate agents in the area. Finally I found an agent from another real estate company to convince her to release me from my contract. She agreed only if I pay her a referral fee. The kicker was that she didn't spend a dime. She hadn't listed my house yet and only spent maybe an hour working with me, including our phone conversations. I felt she was being spiteful, because I didn't want to do business with her. Because of her unprofessional behavior, I will never do business with Keller Williams, especially The Buchman Group! I would give her and Keller Williams zero stars if I could, but this web page only allows at least one star rating.

ZillowVERIFIED When I was looking for a home in Rio Rancho through Zillow, Dave Buchman was the first to reach out to me in the Spring of 2017. I was living in Gallup at the time I started looking. Dave listened to what type of home I was looking for and helped me use the MLS to find homes that fit our requirements for a new home. He was available everyday of the week, to talk and walk me through the home search process. He was our advocate, he looked out for our best interest. We were unable to find a house that met our needs (not his fault but mine) and he helped me find a rental in Rio Rancho until I could get back on my feet. I reached out to Dave again in the spring of 2018 because of the relationship we had. I trusted Dave to look out for my best interests. She gave me in depth market information and crafted a successful action plan that included a wealth of affordable home improvements. This was super important as my budget was tiny (about $500), and I wanted to do everything I could to get my home ready for a new owner. Kara always responded immediately to my questions and advocated for me during the inspection process. My home was listed in December and went into contract just before Christmas! ZillowVERIFIED Our experience with the Buchman Group has been excellent under all aspects. Brand new to Albuquerque and to the house market in the US, we found in David a committed and reliable professional. He tried to understand our needs and guided us through multiple visits of different houses, always adjusting to our schedules and giving competent opinions on the materials, areas of town, conditions of the buildings. Once we decided to buy a home, he became even more essential: he was ready to draft an offer overnight during the weekend, and made the transactions possible while we we were abroad by being on-site during the inspections and informing us on the outcomes. He helped us choose a lender and personally supervised all steps of the transaction, which presented some extra challenges than we expected. Just think about it: David sat with us for about 4 hours in the title office to make sure we finally moved into the new house!

ZillowVERIFIED She was very pleasant our first trip down from Colorado to look at homes, then she turned. The first deal fell through and when I reached out to her to say we were coming back down all she told me that she was going out of town. So, I used someone else. A few days after getting home she reached out to see how our trip went. I told her we found a house and put in an offer. That's when the true colors came out. She told me that I needed to terminate my relationship with the folks that helped us and use her ONLY or she was going to sue me for her commission. She never returned calls or emails, but was very demanding when she needed something from me. It was the WORST experience of my life! And her counterpart in Colorado was just as awful! Keller Williams fosters people who are bullies, condescending and just not professional. Run don't walk away from this one!

Quickly, they helped us hone down our search, based on our specific criteria, to the East Mountains. They set us up with an online search, and were wonderful about checking in regularly. When we arrived in the area to begin our in-person home search several months later in 2017, they jumped right to us, showing us beautiful homes within our price range that suited our criteria. ZillowVERIFIED Susan was a huge help throughout the whole process. We asked for info on one house, and when we met with her, she had already found several others that she thought would interest us based on the one we requested. Not to mention she called us about a meeting time within an hour of requesting information. She walked us through every step of the process the entire time, and responded to all questions within 24 hours at the latest (typically within 2-3 hours depending on the time of day). She made sure to be there at closing as well to ensure that we understood everything that was told to us. Should my wife and I choose to move to another house in the area, Susan will be our go to representative without a doubt.
