Specialties Buyer's agent Listing agent Relocation Commercial R.E. I grew up in New Jersey in a real estate family--my father owned his own firm there--giving me unique insights into the real estate business from a young age. In 1971, my husband and I moved to the North Country, both having accepted teaching jobs. I taught high school English until our children were born, at which point I turned to direct selling for Partylite, which I did for 25 years and became a Regional Vice President for the company. In 2013, I went to work for Gallus & Green Realtors, and was one of the office's leading listing agents. The best part for me ,working in the real estate industry, is the good feeling I get when buyers' eyes light up and you know you've found them the right property, or you've helped them realize their goal of selling. I believe good customer service--listening to what the client wants or needs and good, open lines of communication--is vital when you're connecting buyers and sellers, and it's my primary goal. I am past president of the Berlin AVH Hospital Auxiliary and a former member of the Dummer School Board. My husband and I have been members of the Mt. Washington Valley Stompers for several years, a long established square dancing club located in the Conway area. I have authored four mysteries and one historical fiction novel based in the North Country. In addition to writing, I enjoy cycling, vegetable gardening and am currently trying to help promote the creation of a local Androscoggin Food Co-op,whose mission is to help provide a community owned market to expand healthy food options, locally sourced when possible. I consider myself a "green" realtor, encouraging the use of alternative energy sources and I carry the NAR's Green Designation indicating training in green buildings and sustainable business practices.
