ZillowVERIFIED Review To avoid the hassle of house selling,? we were originally planning on selling our home through an agency that offers a cash price and involves no showings or open houses etc. This seemed like a good idea especially with the current pandemic we are all living with. We contacted Open Door, and Steven from the Steven Norris agency responded and subsequently, via videoconference, presented the two options. Because of Stevens knowledge, the considerable difference in price, and the confidence we felt with Steven, we opted to go with aEURoePlan BaEUR? and sell in a more conventional manner. Steven had some recommendations which we followed ?to prepare the house for sale.????? We had six offers the first weekend our home was listed. We accepted the best offer-which was considerably high than asking price-and closed 3 weeks later last month. Our experience was probably a little different from most. We had a very small time line to actually find a house to loved and close on it. Steven understood the urgency and acted as such. Within a few days Steven helped us generate a beautiful list of potential new homes, even throwing in some surprise ones along the way. (It was actually one of his surprise homes we didn't have on our list that we ended up moving into!) Took a few days to personally show all the properties to us and in the car ride around we did pros and cons on those homes. He gave his honest opinion the entire time, I felt as if he truly cared about us being happy no matter what. He never once suggested a home out of our price range at all. He gave much appreciated referrals through the process for closing attorneys, mortage loans, home inspectors, and even a sanitation company to hire when we moved in. We called him and he promptly got back with us and meet us out so that we could get to know him, as this is a HUGE decision. After speaking with him, we KNEW he was the right person for us. He was knowledgeable, confident, and not stuck up...he was a real person that we could relate to. He took us under his wing to explain the whole process and we never felt lost or scared because of it. We found the perfect house and we all knew it once we arrived and Steven always knew the houses NOT to show us, as he really listened to our needs and wants. Once we decided on it, he took care of ALL of the details for us, including lenders, attorneys and the such. We were surprised at how well he negotiated for us. We had a number that we wanted,and not only did he hit that, but got quite a bit below AND had the seller buy us all new appliances!
