Review My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Steve. We truly have Steve to thank for the house we are now living in. If it were not for his connections and assertiveness, we would not have gotten our house. Here are just some of the reasons that we really enjoyed working with Steve and would recommend him to anyone we know: - My husband and I were first time homebuyers. We were looking for a realtor who was willing to take their time to explain and walk us through the entire home buying process. Steve did just that. Our first phone call with him lasted probably 45 minutes. He was in no rush to end the call and he patiently answered all of our questions. - He has fantastic recommendations for a mortgage broker, attorney, and home inspector. Everyone who he recommended to us was reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and kind. It made the whole home buying process very smooth. - During the time we were buying, the market was very hot. Houses were selling within a matter of hours. He caught wind from a realtor he knows of a house going up on the market in a few weeks. He sent us an old listing of the house (since the house still was not up on the market yet) and asked if we would be interested. My husband and I were very interested in the house. From that point on, Steve was assertive and aggressive on our behalf to ensure that we were the first people in that house to view it. Thankfully we were because we were the first people to put in an offer and get it accepted (although there was a long line of people after us viewing the property and putting bids in). - My husband and I were very hesitant to trust a realtor. From different open houses that we went to, many realtors came across as salesmen/saleswomen. We did not like how that felt. It did not feel like they had our best interests in mind and they were usually pushy. As a result, we were hesitant when we went to see some houses with Steve for the first time. From the start, I remember Steve saying ?I am not expecting you to put an offer in on any of these houses that we will be seeing, but I want you to get a feel for what you want and for me to get a better sense of what you want.? This instantly calmed our nerves and we felt more comfortable that we would not be pressured to buy a house ASAP with Steve. On the contrary, he was upfront about each property, pointing out the quality of the appliances, the construction, or the remodel of particular rooms. He would point out if something was a red flag (checking the basement for cracks and/or flooding concerns, the presence of space heaters, an old furnace, etc.). He was able to tell us how much it would cost to remodel a bathroom, replace the carpeting with hardwood floors, update the kitchen cabinets, etc. Lastly, he never showed us houses outside of our budget. We truly felt like we could trust him and that he had our best interests in mind. - Steve is laid back, friendly, knowledgeable. - It is so apparent that he loves what he does and it makes a big difference. If you are looking for a realtor, I would highly recommend that you work with Steve Goodman!

Review Steve is very dedicated to helping people find their forever home. He has been incredibly patient and helpful as we were looking for the perfect gem. He is honest and sometimes you forget your with a realtor trying to sell you a property because he notices things and points them out like a friend would, he never hides them. Hes very knowledgeable about what houses are worth and isnt afraid to fight for a deal. He also helped us sell our home in only a couple weeks! We were hesitant to list it at the price he suggested but we were sooo happy we did. There are a lot of realtors out there, but Steves the guy who gets it done.

The other agent screwed us around with all sorts of stories about why our unit wasnt selling. Review We put our home up for sale in February 2006 when the recession was beginning. Steve was new to the business and after talking with him we decided to give him the listing. We never regretted that decision. He held an open house almost every weekend. We finally sold our home in July 2006. He went to the closing for us as we were on the road on the way to AZ where we were moving to. He was very encouraging throughout the whole process.
