Steve Freel

Steve Freel is the Owner and Responsible Broker of Vertical Realty Group, LLC and Managing Broker for Jonah Property Group, LLC, serving buyers, sellers, investors, and developers throughout Casper and Central Wyoming.

A lifetime Casper resident, Steve brings a unique combination of real estate, business, development, and public-sector experience to his clients. His real estate practice includes residential and commercial properties, land, development, investment properties, and complex transactions throughout Wyoming.

Before entering real estate, Steve served in the United States Army and spent more than 26 years in law enforcement, retiring as an Assistant Chief of Police. His commitment to public service continued through elected office. Steve served on the Casper City Council, as Vice Mayor, two terms as Mayor of Casper, and later as a Natrona County Commissioner, including serving as Chairman of the Commission.

Steve has also been a leader within Wyoming's real estate industry, serving as President of the Casper Board of REALTORSA(R) and helping lead the formation of the Central Wyoming Board of REALTORSA(R), where he now serves as Past President.

His experience as a broker, property owner, investor, developer, former elected official, and lifelong member of the community provides clients with a perspective that extends well beyond simply buying or selling property. Steve understands the local market as well as the zoning, infrastructure, development, and economic issues that can affect real estate decisions.
