Conner was absolutely AMAZING! We initially met him by chance when we requested a tour through Zillow for a condo in Uptown Charlotte and from that point on we did not work with anyone else. We literally were looking at multiple properties on a daily basis and he was incredibly responsive, professional and most of all knowledgeable regarding all the various neighborhoods in Charlotte. He clearly had done his due diligence before meeting us each and every time. Kathleen Higgins, our agent, was exceptional...very knowledgeable about home quality issues and what to watch out for and knowledgeable about the market in general. She followed up with every detail through the whole process, and we experienced her as a genuine person...which always helps. It felt like we had a family friend assisting us with a very important decision. Her team was also very apparent through the process, sending helpful and specific information about the neighborhood where we eventually bought a home. I won't detail any further about this, in case some of these supportive efforts may be proprietary, but it's obvious that Stephen Cooley and his team have carefully mapped out key points in the process and designed ways to assist with each one. The agent Tonja came to my home and told me she could sell the house at an inflated price just to get me to sign the contract. Once I was locked in, she pushed me to lower the price week after week. In over six weeks I only had one showingaEUR"clearly, they werent doing much to actually sell the house. I never spoke directly to the owner, but his agent and that Adelle lady were horrible and completely dishonest aEUR" overpromising, underdelivering, and then charging me a hefty cancellation fee even after doing nothing useful. I asked for my house measurements information, like who did the service for my own record, they ignored me , but still took the money. They were neither effective nor efficient, and I deeply regret working with them. Their practice is unethical. I have reported them to the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.

I am a first-time homeowner who started my home search on Zillow in the Summer of 2024. When I was ready to view properties, Zillow matched me with Sarah Loftis, the most outstanding real estate agent I could've asked for. When I was initially browsing, my schedule was slammed. She waited patiently for things to calm down and was sure to check on me periodically, not as an agent who was trying to get a sale from a client but as a human who cared about another human. Words cannot express how much that meant to me. When things calmed down, we started looking together. We saw probably eight to twelve properties together in total. Sarah was knowledgeable about each of the listings, the market, HOAs, etc. When she didn't know the answer, she would reach out to a colleague or partner to find the answer. When I finally found the property that I thought was THE ONE, we had a big snafu with the lender from which I obtained my preapproval, which made us return to the drawing board and find another property. I WAS DEVASTATED and honestly wanted to give up. Sarah demonstrated empathy during this challenging time and allowed me a few days to grieve before making recommendations that ultimately changed my home-buying journey trajectory. Sarah connected me with a new lender and stellar lending officer, and we continued our search. Initially, we couldn't find a home that was a perfect fit like the one we had to leave behind. When I thought all was lost, Sarah called me with the specs on a new build that met ALL of my specifications and was better even on paper than the initial property I picked out. We went to see the home, and I fell in love immediately. Sarah helped me to navigate every aspect of the process. She was always available to answer every text or phone call and never left me feeling undervalued. Additionally, she was a wealth of knowledge and took the time to make sure I understood everything I signed or was asked to do throughout the process until the day of closing. We closed at the beginning of December 2024, and she still checks in weekly to ensure I'm okay. I highly recommend Sarah Loftis for helping you find your next home. But then we got set up with another agent with Stephen Cooley that was awesome as well. Long story short, Stephen Cooley fired our agent but did not contact us or make us aware of the situation. It caused a lot of issues and prolonged our closing and other trouble as well. I was very disappointed and caused our family a lot of stress and had us dependent on us making calls and doing a lot of work ourselves . I loved our agents but because of Stephen Cooley I personally do not recommend his company and will not use them again in the future.
