After a successful career as an opera singer, I was looking for a change. I got into real estate in the year 2000 when my wife and I bought our first home - a small fixer in Eagle Rock. The renovation process was so satisfying - and profitable - that I vowed to do more. I and a group of partners began to take dilapidated properties, neighborhood eyesores and transform them into clean, safe, affordable homes with a sense of style.
