Stephanie L. Tanis of Re/Max Performance, Inc. is the real estate agent for you! Stephanie has been a licensed agent since 2006 and has been trained as an ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and GRI (Graduated Realtor Institute), as well as a Short Sale and Foreclosure Specialist (SFR). Stephanie went to college at Colorado State University in Ft. Collins and has been awarded Executive Club with Re/Max in 2007 and 2008, and 100% Club in 2009 and every year thereafter. She joined the ranks of The Platinum Club honors in 2012, and has achieved this status year after year. She decided to pursue a career in real estate because she loves working with people and her family. The most challenging part of the business to Stephanie is keeping current from moment to moment on the facts and what is truly happening in the market. She tells us, "Having good communication with all the facets of the process is key". Stephanie tells us that the key to being a great agent lies in "Honesty, integrity, loyalty, a good listener, a good communicator, friendly, respectful, and a great negotiator. I try to show all of these characteristics in every way I can. Each transaction and client is different, some will require more of one attribute than another, but all are the complete package." Stephanie Tanis has lived in Colorado since 1976, and joined her current community in 1980. Since then she has watched it grow and evolve. There is so much to do in Colorado, including snowmobiling, ATVing, hiking, Garden of the Gods rock climbing, Florissant Fossil Beds digging for fossils, mountain biking, Pikes Peak Hill Climb, ice racing, ice fishing at the local lakes and reservoirs. Colorado has an abundance of outdoor activities and areas that can be endless to see, and also will help you to keep in good health with the high altitude breathing. This area is known as "The City Above the Clouds", the weather is usually nicer at this elevation than in the lower elevations.
