ZillowVERIFIED Stephanie represented my wife and me in the purchase of our first home. I was trying to convince my wife to move from St. Louis County to St. Charles County by 94/64. I had known Stephanie through an unrelated matter, and was impressed with her forthrightness, advocacy, and shrewdness. So, naturally, I thought of her.I am happy I did. Throughout the process, I was comfortable deferring to and relying upon her judgment. A couple times, I sent her a list of houses and asked that she select the ones she thought would best suit us. And she did just that. When we were viewing houses, she was honest in her assessments and would not hesitate to point out potential issues. Even when my wife and I liked a house or didnt like some aspect of another, she would keep us grounded in reality. Above all, she wanted us in a house that made sense for us, both from a livability and a financial point of view. Once we found our house, she was diligent in her drafting and pushed the sellers in order to secure us the best deal she could. This was no easy task as the sellers were, quite frankly, unreasonable and this market is horrible to be buying into. Stephanie went so far as capping her commission under the purchase price to strike a deal. Between the initial offer and through the inspection contingency, there were probably no fewer than 15 offers and counteroffers. It became so absurd, I gave Stephanie open-ended authority to structure the transaction without any hesitation. I think this says a lot coming from a lawyer. Stephanie is pleasant, nice, tough, patient, and honest. There is no pressure dealing with her. When my wife and I outgrow this house, we will be calling Stephanie. Also, Joelle at her office is awesome. Didnt want to forget about her.
