We found a house we loved on a Thursday, toured on a Saturday, placed an offer on Monday, and found out later that day our offer had been accepted- both because it was competitive and because her team (who works with Prosperity Mortgage) has an awesome reputation for reliability and efficiency. After our offer was accepted, we were able to close on the house about a month later without any issues. ZillowVERIFIED With the help of the Legal Team at Long and Foster, I went to settlement on October 5th, just 6 weeks after receiving a contract offer higher than my asking price and the Zillow rated price (which occurred on the first weekend advertised). This would not have been possible without the tremendous support I received from Jennifer Meckes, my realtor from the Legal Team. After 4 months of non-payment by my townhouse tenant, she left it totally trashed when evicted in mid-July. I was getting married on August 4th half way across the country, and had decided to sell my townhouse and rid myself of having to manage a rental. I was frantic thinking about how I was going to get the place looking decent enough to sell. In steps Jennifer and her team leader, Stephanie Maric to the rescue. Jennifer came up with a list of cost effective fixes and then clearly explained why I should consider them. From New Mexico, via email and phone calls I was able to pick a combination of contractors (some she recommended and some I did) that all did great. Jennifer and Stephanie did all the coordination with them and helped me determine how I could pay them from out-of-town. With Jennifer's help in providing a small amount of staging, we have multiple offers just days after advertising it for sale. Jennifer and Stephanie of the Legal Team go above and beyond the effort you normally see in a Realtor. And did I mention all this for just the standard fee. If you want to sell your house right, the Legal Team is the one to have.
