From our first meeting with Terrance I quickly understood that this was going to be a different experience than what I have had in the past. Terrance's market knowledge and his ability to narrow down houses for us to look at by asking questions and really getting to know what was important to us was so helpful. One thing that I really appreciated was his ability to give feedback on each house, really pointing out the pros and cons of each home. I think this was important because we never felt like he was selling us on a home, and it kept us from panic buying as we had sold our house prior to buying a new one. ZillowVERIFIED Terrance is honestly the best realtor I have encountered in IN. Here's my experience below for you to judge it yourself -- I left a voicemail to Evelo Office on Friday night after 9pm out of desperation -- I flew from California wanting to check out some properties to buy in Hamilton. Three days passed, none of the SIX local realtors I contacted previously followed up with me nor arranged any visits after their enthusiastic initial contacts and promises. By Friday night, I was panicking. I didn't expect any answer till Monday.Shockingly, less than 5min later, I received a call from a gentleman, friendly, calm, professional, analytical and extremely knowledgeable -- He elevated the real estate salesmanship to the level of a data scientist! He first actively listened to my urgent needs and quickly understood my unusual circumstances. Then, he efficiently addressed all my concerns, which calmed me down immediately. He patiently educated me for more than 30min on the local real estate market with a series of supporting data... When I finished the conversation, I knew I found someone outstanding (and became his loyal fan ever since). He arranged the first available appointment on Saturday morning to see the house I had in my mind. It's not till a few days later that I found out it was actually his wedding anniversary that Saturday?!! Speaking of dedication to the service... (I pray people would not take advantage of such a nice guy.) We saw the house I loved, he did the calculation... strongly recommended it which I knew is in a fantastic location and the numbers made sense. But I wasn't quite satisfied with the layout, and mostly I wasn't quite ready to buy the first house I saw in a brand new state emotionally. Terrance respected my decision, and didn't pressure me or responded in any negative ways. We quickly arranged another full list of house appointments for Sunday. Sunday, Terrance was again super efficient, sharp, observant, resourceful. He paid attention to details, eg. he noticed the paint peeling off from the thin skylight frame 7' or 8' above, and said the moisture may create mold and I need to pay attention and change it periodically. He also pointed out very subtle mismatched decorative paint patterns on the ceiling, and said it may indicate leakage from the bathroom above; or showed me mismatched tiny floor height differences between rooms, or the uneven wall surface showing frame positions underneath etc... He is not only able to see himself the complexity of the situations and calculate the impact on the buyer and house values with a long term vision based on objective data analysis. But also, he is able to explain to me with clear logic and use of simple language. So, as a lay customer, I can understand too, and appreciate his recommendations. It was quite an experience to learn how a master thinks... He is conscientious, and totally in sync with my rhythm of needs, speed of acceptance and level of understanding. Just really all around impressive!Terrance is not a people pleaser by any means. He definitely has no problem sharing with you his opinions even in sensitive topics (politics). I appreciate this quality of him as well. It only reinforced my respect and trust in him as a person -- He is real.In the end, I didn't buy a property during this trip, which has nothing to do with Terrance nor the houses we saw, but the circumstances and the timing. Terrance accepted it all with grace without any complaints which touched me. Although I didn't buy in the end, the seed he planted in my mind will for sure blossom in some other ways. He set an example who inspires me for my own work. If I ever returned to IN to live, knowing what I know now, I will buy a more expensive house for myself (not for rental), and I will still come to find Terrance as my realtor! And if I ever returned to patient care work here in Hamilton, I will for sure tell all my contacts to trust Terrance to buy or remodel their properties, absolutely!! Because I trust him. ps. The website didn't allow me to enter all the cities Terrance showed me properties in. So, I will list them here: Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Nobelsville, Indiana.

From the time I called to make an appointment to well after the sale, they were checking to see if everything was ok with me and my family. Sure, companies do that to get more sales, but they were reaching out because they actually care about their clients. The admin queen herself, Megan, was so helpful and responsive that I feel bad for her replacement if she ever leaves. The next person to sit in her chair has very large shoes to fill. The Real Estate Broker I worked with, Terrance Perkey, was extremely knowledgeable and worked very hard to make sure the sale closed at the price and timeline I wanted. One example is when he went completely out of his way to help me deal with a critical situation. He came over and offered a few ideas to solve the problem. Before he left my house, the issue was fixed, and it was done way under budget thanks to Terrance. At closing, I was lucky enough to sit next to one of the owners, Stephanie. This was a hard sale for me. Stephanie was very understanding and supportive as the paperwork was signed. The Evelo team cares about their clients and they are very efficient. I think my house was on the market for something like 8 days! Thats right, you should probably have another place to live before they list your house because it will sell fast! They have a perfect, well-oiled buying and selling system. I will easily do business with them again. Thanks Evelo Team!

Terrance got us out of a contract after an inspection went south, and my husband and I did not have to do anything. He also negotiated in order to get us the house of our dreams in this crazy sellers market that we're currently in. During the long process that buying our home turned out to be, Terrance was always making sure that we had the full picture (both good and bad) of what we would be getting into with each house we looked at. A friend of mine has always loved the agent that she worked with, but after telling her stories of all the things Terrance did for us she is much less impressed with her own agent.
