1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
My biggest advice to buyers is to start with education before action. I always recommend an in-person buyer strategy session so we can walk through the current market, financing options, timelines, and what a strong offer really looks like today. I will never talk a client into buying a home, my job is to give you honest guidance and the information you need to decide whether buying makes sense for your goals. The market is always changing, and whether you’ve purchased before or this is your first time, understanding today’s conditions is key to making a confident decision.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
I believe selling a home should begin with a strategy session, not just putting a sign in the yard. I take the time to educate sellers on current market data, buyer behavior, and local inventory so we can create a plan that fits their goals. I’m very transparent with pricing and expectations, I will never overpromise a number just to win a listing. My focus is on protecting my clients’ equity and guiding them toward the best course of action based on facts, not pressure.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve worked with a wide range of clients over the years, including first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, empty nesters and downsizers, relocation clients, and sellers in every stage of life. I truly enjoy helping first-time buyers navigate the process, but there’s also something incredibly meaningful about helping families sell a home they’ve loved for years and transition into their next chapter. Every transaction has a story, and I’m honored to be part of it.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One of my favorite recent transactions involved helping a family sell the home they had lived in for decades. It was filled with memories and milestones, and the process required thoughtful planning, patience, and clear communication. I guided them through pricing, preparation, and timing, while also helping them secure a home that better fit their new season of life. The transaction was successful, but more importantly, the clients felt supported and confident every step of the way.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I started my real estate career in 2012, drawn to the opportunity to combine business, relationships, and service. Before real estate, I was a teacher, and while I loved educating others, I quickly realized that a traditional classroom setting wasn’t where I thrived. I’ve always been passionate about building authentic, one-on-one connections and making a meaningful impact in people’s lives, and real estate gave me the ability to do that every single day.
I took that passion for connection and education and transitioned it into real estate, where I could guide clients through one of the most important decisions of their lives. Over time, my love for the industry also allowed me to incorporate my other interests — interior design, event planning, and being deeply involved in people’s life transitions — into my work. As my career grew, my passion for leadership and mentorship led me to build The Deeds Group and eventually open my own brokerage, Point Realty, where I now serve clients while also mentoring and developing agents.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Yes. In addition to my years of experience, I hold several professional designations, including Certified Luxury Home Specialist (CLHMS), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). I’m committed to staying informed on market trends, contract changes, and local statistics, and I lead weekly education and accountability sessions for agents at Point Realty.
