Q: 1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Get your financing sorted before you start touring, so you know your real budget and can move quickly when the right home comes up. Then spend your time comparing communities, not just houses. Two homes at the same price can come with very different HOA fees, CDD fees, commute times and resale prospects. If you’re looking at new construction, bring your own agent from the first visit. The builder’s sales team works for the builder, and your agent costs you nothing extra in most cases.

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Price it from current data, not from what a neighbor got two years ago or what you need to walk away with. The first two weeks on the market get the most attention, so a home that’s priced right and well presented from day one usually sells faster and closer to asking than one that has to chase the market with price cuts. Fix the small things buyers notice in photos and at showings, and be realistic about the big things.

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

Mostly buyers, including new construction buyers, people moving to Orlando from out of state, and investors buying rental property. I’ve also represented sellers, and I help relocating families find rentals while they get settled. My clients have bought across Greater Orlando, from Horizon West and Lake Nona to Kissimmee and Davenport.

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

I recently helped buyers purchase a four bedroom home in the Tapestry community in Kissimmee, which closed in October 2026. We compared several communities on monthly cost, not just price, and went through the HOA and CDD details before they committed, so there were no surprises at closing. They knew exactly what they were paying and why.

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

I earned my Florida real estate license in 2025 and joined Florida Homes Group, an Orlando brokerage. I’d been through the process of buying and settling in Orlando myself, and I saw how much easier it is with someone who gives you straight answers about each area and doesn’t push. That’s the kind of agent I set out to be.

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

I’m a licensed Florida real estate sales associate and a member of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association and the National Association of REALTORS®. I’ve completed the NAR Code of Ethics and Fair Housing training and Stellar MLS training. I also study new construction closely, including builder contracts, incentives and how different communities compare on long term cost.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Steve Simpson and Florida Home Group for helping us sell our villa in Florida. As a family-run business, they provided a personal and professional service throughout the process. Living in the UK while selling a property in Florida could have been complicated, but Steve was excellent at keeping us informed every step of the way. His communication was first-class, and his knowledge and expertise in handling all the paperwork made the whole process so much easier for us. We really appreciated the support, reassurance and attention to detail Steve provided throughout the sale. We would have no hesitation in recommending Steve Simpson and Florida Home Group to anyone looking to sell their property in Florida. Thank you, Steve, for all your help and for making the experience so much easier for us.

We are extremely appreciative of Sol - Florida Homes Group for everything he did to help us purchase our home in Orlando. From the very beginning, Sol went above and beyond for us. He spent a tremendous amount of time running around with us, showing us different properties, working around our schedule, and being incredibly flexible with our timeframe. At no point did we feel rushed or pressured. He was patient, accommodating, and genuinely committed to helping us find the right home. What stood out to us even more was his determination when it came to the financing side of the purchase. Our mortgage situation was not necessarily straightforward, but Sol did not give up. He used his experience, knowledge, and connections to help us find a way forward and ultimately helped put us in a position where we were able to secure a mortgage and complete the purchase of our home. Throughout the entire process--from viewing properties and negotiating, to inspections, financing, and closing--Sol remained accessible, responsive, and supportive. He made himself available whenever we needed him and consistently worked behind the scenes to keep everything moving. Buying a home can be stressful, especially when there are unexpected challenges along the way, but having Sol in our corner made a tremendous difference. We truly felt that he cared about the outcome and was looking out for our best interests, rather than simply trying to complete a transaction. We are very happy with the home we purchased and incredibly grateful for the amount of time, effort, patience, and dedication Sol gave us throughout the entire process. We would highly recommend Sol - Florida Homes Group to anyone looking to purchase a home in Orlando or Central Florida. He is the type of realtor who genuinely goes the extra mile for his clients, and we are very thankful to have had him represent us. ?

I would highly recommend Florida Homes Group (Sol), as he provided invaluable support when I relocated from the UK. He assisted me with securing accommodation, opening a US bank account, obtaining my Florida driving license and navigating the various practical requirements of settling into a new country. Throughout the process Sol was always on hand to assist whenever needed and was professional, approachable, knowledgeable and extremely helpful at all times. I'm very grateful for his support and have no hesitation in recommending.

Moving from out of state can be overwhelming, but Sol made the entire process incredibly easy. He spent countless hours showing us homes and never made us feel rushed or pressured. He helped us get to know the community by taking us to local restaurants, shopping areas, and neighborhood highlights so we could picture what life would actually be like there. When we found a home we were considering that needed renovations, Sol didn't just talk through the possibilities. He personally drove us to a tile showroom and countertop supplier so we could see materials, understand pricing, and make an informed decision. That level of service is something we've never experienced before. Throughout our home search, Sol was knowledgeable, responsive, patient, and honest. He's only getting 5 stars because they won't let us give him 100.
