ZillowVERIFIED I'm writing to warn others about extremely unprofessional solicitation practices from agent Simran Dua. Without any request or indication from us that we were interested in selling our home, this agent: - Obtained our personal phone number through unknown means - LIED about getting our number from "neighbor Monica" - we don't know anyone by that name - Sent unsolicited messages assuming we wanted to sell our property (we had previously listed and removed it from market) - Contacted multiple family members, causing unnecessary panic and confusion - Made presumptuous statements about our "gorgeous home" and fabricated claims of neighbor recommendations This type of aggressive, invasive marketing is exactly what gives real estate agents a bad reputation. Professional agents should never cold-contact homeowners using numbers obtained without permission, and certainly shouldn't involve family members in unsolicited sales pitches. We have no interest in working with someone who demonstrates such poor judgment and boundary violations in their initial outreach. I question what other corners might be cut in an actual real estate transaction. Buyers and sellers deserve agents who respect privacy and operate with basic professionalism.

Many of those showings had to be arranged by her based on our California timings. That means very late for her. Still, she kept showing many homes across Naperville for multiple weeks. She guided us on the buying process as buying a home in Naperville, IL was a very different experience than buying in Naperville. She taught us how to make a strong offer without pushing our budget and finally help us get our dream home at $12K less than the asking price when everybody was paying 10-20% above the asking price. She is a tough negotiator. She did not stop at the closing but kept helping us to find a gardener, painter, or any forms of service we needed even after buying the home. In short, she is always there whether it is midnight in Illinois or on a weekend. She is a blessing to us. Glad that we met and worked with her. We had a bunch of constraints, some of which we told her, and others that she gleaned quickly from our initial reactions. For example, we would go out into the backyard first and soon she was recommending houses with a nice, green, backyard. She is very responsive, is able to setup times for seeing houses at a short notice, and tirelessly accompanied us for every one of the the thirty odd houses we saw. Her inputs have been very professional and she has a genuine concern for our best. Once we decided to close, she moved quickly and provided us with business contacts, all of whom we found to be excellent (we did our own research and came back to the ones she recommended). In the end, we had a smooth home purchase and we would highly recommend her.
