ZillowVERIFIED I feel extremely lucky to have had the good fortune of being represented by Simone Knepper in the purchase of my new mountain cabin. This particular cabin has gorgeous greenbelt views and a wonderful private location resulting in a great deal of interest and multiple offers coming in on the property. I reached out to Simone and within minutes of contacting her, she had arranged access to show me the property and submitted my offer that very same day. Simone is an excellent listener, an attribute that not all real estate agents have. Simone listened to what my budget was regarding the property and what I felt made sense considering some areas of the property that would require work. Simone gave valuable advice on how to structure my offer so that it was strong, clean and straightforward, and despite multiple other offers, the sellers ultimately chose mine as the offer to proceed with even though I dont think it was the highest offer presented to them. Simone is a pleasure to work with and while I have a fair amount of real estate knowledge, her approach and common sense are definitely the reason I now own this spectacular property. Sometimes it is tempting to have an acquaintance or friend represent you in a real estate transaction and I am confident that had I gone this route, things would have gone very differently and the cabin would probably have gone to one of the other buyers. The great thing is that after working with Simone, I now consider her a good friend and also one that I would recommend to my friends and family who are searching for their perfect mountain property. Simone knows the mountain community and was always quick to respond to questions and concerns as well as provide assistance whenever I needed it. You will never feel like you are pestering or bothering Simone and she always is eager to do research for you or find answers to any questions that you might have. My husband had visited a few times and felt connected with Arrowhead, I on the other hand had actually never been there. When we started looking for homes online, we found Simone, we were just eager to start looking and somehow we got very lucky. She was flexible, honest (more honest then any other realtor I had encountered), learned what we liked and disliked (very quickly), and was extremely responsive. Since we weren't local she made herself available to do virtual walkthroughs and gave us her honest opinion. I can honestly say we wouldn't have found our dream vacation home without her help. She was very responsive and always followed through on what she said she was going to do, including after the sale closed and we took possession of the keys. When asked her opinion about a property, she would share her thoughts and compare/contrast them with what we wanted, so we could make the best decision. Its a huge decision. Its life changing!My husband and I put our house up for sale in Glendora so that we could relocate to the mountains! This new lifestyle change for me was very exciting, yet scary and I had doubts along the way. For me it was an emotional roller coaster.So many factors go into buying a home and it all starts with the person you hire to find you a home! Last thing I needed was to find an agent that would add to my stress BUT I didnt have to worry about that with Simone. She is so chill and honest. She was the perfect balance for me during this life changing transition! On our first trip, she gave us a great orientation to the area and showed us all kinds of properties in our price range. Since she lives in the area, she was able to describe all the pros and cons of the neighborhoods, even the micro-climates on different sides of the lake. We werent sure what style of property we were looking for, but Simone helped us figure that out. She was also great about taking us to all the houses we had found onlineaEUR"and kept us posted about new ones that werent listed yet. I will say that every time we came up we liked to look at a lot of houses, and Simone thoughtfully planned the route that made that most efficient.
