ZillowVERIFIEDShelly is a true professional. She made the process of selling our house a breeze. With the current seller's market, multiple offers (while a great problem to have) can be overwhelming. Shelly provided a lot of input on which offer would be the best for us. She was very thorough with explaining buyer's financing and the different variables that could effect an offer. We felt so comfortable with the decision we made because of Shelly's advice. We have used Shelly multiple times buying and selling real estate. We will, without a doubt, use her again in the future.

ZillowVERIFIED Shelly represented us in the sale of our family home of 23 years. She was instrumental in the extremely quick sale of our house. Throughout the process she was courteous, informative, diligent and respectful of our choices. Once the offers poured in, she helped us go through every offer and explained good and bad points of each offer. Once our decision was made, she made the paperwork a breeze. I would highly recommend Shelly to any one needing to buy or sell a home. She was professional and discreet every step of the way. Great agent!

ZillowVERIFIED Shelly assisted me with buying my first home 6 years ago. In March 2020, I contacted her with my specific needs to sell this same home. She contacted some people and my home sold immediately.

ZillowVERIFIED It is hard to describe how wonderful Shelly was in this process for our family. Everything happened very quickly for us in deciding to sell our first home and purchase our forever home. Shelly was right there from the onset of the process to guide us and expeditiously handle the sale and purchase. She navigated it all so smoothly and relieved our stress. She supported us in every way, kept excellent communication, and her professional skills shined through in the negotiation and finalization of the transactions. there is no one I would rather have as my realtor than Shelly!

ZillowVERIFIED Shelly is excellent at her job. She makes great recommendations for various services like inspections, roofing experts, financing, etc. She keeps you very informed along the way and stays in close contact with you to make sure that nothing is overlooked or waiting for information. I like the fact she uses text messages and emails, allowing me to get back to her when time allows instead of a direct phone call. Very easy process. If I ever have the need to sell or buy again, Shelly will be my agent...period.

ZillowVERIFIED Shelly helped us sell our house in just 10 days in the middle of November. She did a great job at making the process of selling our home as easy as possible.

ZillowVERIFIED Shelly was a steady hand in the chaotic process of trying to sell a home and her experience was obvious when first meeting her. I thought the compilation of pictures of our house and the advertisement of it on social media turned out great. She hosted several open houses that always produced interest. Shelly kept us informed of other comparable homes on the market, what they were listed for, what they were selling for, etc. Her efforts actually generated several offers until we ultimately closed with our buyer. I highly recommend Shelly if you're looking to sell/buy a home.

ZillowVERIFIED Shelly worked with me on selling my home in Hillsboro, Missouri. She was easy and friendly to work with, always quick to communicate with my wife and I. She had an offer for us within 5 days of listing that was a little above our asking price. She helped us greatly during negotiations with our buyers during the inspection process and was of great help in assisting us on closing as we had to do it remotely from another state. I would recommend Shelly if you are selling or buying a home.

ZillowVERIFIED Shelly represented the sale of our previous home and then again with the purchase of our current home. She was very professional, warm, and honest with us during the process. The closing on our current home was dependent upon reconstruction of an existing lagoon which we wanted relocated, but delayed closing numerous weeks due to rain and rezoning of the land. Shelly was there to help us achieve the outcome we desired. We are very grateful in her efforts to help make the process as smooth and seamless as possible. If you need an agent who is really looking to help you and not just close another sale, Shelly Ruess is the agent for you.

ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I have been represented by Shelly twice in the selling of two homes, and purchasing of another. Both homes sold in under a month's time period. Shelly listened to what we wanted and worked hard to achieve our goals on both occasions. I would for sure use her again if the opportunity arose.

ZillowVERIFIED We were moving from out of state. Shelly was very knowledgeable about the area and very cooperative in working with our schedules while showing homes. She was helpful in answering questions about local services and communicating with the sellers' realtor about issues that arose.

ZillowVERIFIED We had to do everything long distance as this was a relocation from Wyoming to Missouri. Shelly made the process almost painless. She was responsive, both through email (before we moved) and by phone (after my husband made the move). She provided more information than I expected and researched questions we had. She responded regardless of whether it was an evening or a weekend. I would recommend Shelly as either a buyers or sellers agent to anyone looking in the south St. Louis area.

ZillowVERIFIED We just purchased our first home with Shelly. She was incredible. We met with her and immediately decided to part ways with our original realtor to go with her. She was patient with all of our questions and if she didn't immediately know the answer, she would find out before the end of the day. The inspector she recommended was great. Her recommendations for offers/negotiations for inspection items were perfect. And she got us our dream house! The closing process was incredibly smooth. I would recommend Shelly to anyone. She is truly an excellent realtor.
