She is so very knowledgable about the area around Franklin NC where we were looking to purchase a house. She saved us hours of pointless viewing by providing background information on the different houses we thought looked good from zillow or other websites. - she provided information on the area, access, and often the house itself if she knew of any history around it. Lots of patience with the lists I sent from Florida to her.! We had several visits over 9 months to finally get to buy the house we loved, and Sheila negotiated professionally and promptly with offers and communications. Top notch experience all around.

Her estimate of the value of our home was spot on which was $50,000 more that of the other realtor we interviewed. After we met her we stopped interviewing realtors. She gave attention to detail actually pointing out a couple of positives that we had overlooked. She is personable, knowledgeable and gave us moral support throughout this stressful process and, further, helped us with a few problems even after the sale had closed. WOW. Most dont. Three feel through for reasons like seller realized he wanted to keep his house, another got two offers the same day and committed to the other one first and lastly, seller was reluctant to fix a serious issue. ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I had been planning to retire to Franklin, NC. We made a trip up in June. I had contacted Sheila with 10 homes I had picked out on Zillow. At the time my husband was waiting an inheritance from his fathers estate in FL. We currently own the home we are living in in Georgia. It was paid for in cash. Sheila seemed very knowledgeable and sin ere when we met her. She showed us to homes appropriate for what we were looking for, and my husband and I both lo ed the 2nd home in Otto, NC. That home had been on Zillow for over one year. As I am handicapped, we chose this area to get out of the Middle Georgia heat, as I cannot tolerate heat. We asked if it would be possible to rent the 2nd home for the month of August, or even the first which had also been on the market a long time. She said she really didnt forsee any problems and would let us know. I called and e-mailed her several times and got no reply, nor did she bother to keep sending other homes that met the criteria that we were looking for. We made it clear that we wanted to do a cash deal. Finally, we now have the money in hand , and are in a position of immediate purchase We will not use Sheila again due to her complete lack of follow up. I worked doing sales and marketing most of my adult life. I never made any money by not following up and maintain rapport with a potential buyer.

I was prepared to move to Asheville but have to continue making mortgage payments for up to a year before giving in and drastically lowering the price on my Franklin house. But within 10 days I had an offer. Not exactly what I wanted but pretty close, only about $6000 less. Sheila helped me with back and forth negotiations until a deal was reached. Shes a real pro with years of experience and excellent knowledge of mountain properties, which usually have quirks and demands that home in cities dont have.
