Shaunna Overman is the Lead Agent of The Overman Group, a real estate sales team brokerage. Her team covers North Carolina from the coast to the mountains. Shaunna is a lifelong resident of North Carolina, and enjoys helping clients in the area she knows and loves. Shaunna is committed to helping her clients fully understand the real estate process. A background in marketing built her passion for cutting edge real estate marketing for her property listings. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
If you are looking for knowledge of the current market and negotiations our team is very skilled. We are full time agents and this is our career, so we are committed to helping our clients find the best home for their needs. We work with on-market as well as off-market properties which is a huge advantage for our buyers. Considering high demand and low supply in our current market it is important to know when those opportunities are coming available in advance.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
We specialize in listing property. We have a team to take on the buyer calls and showings. Having sold over 200 homes in the the last 12 months, we know how to get our sellers to closing on time with a focus on their bottom line. Representing our sellers best interests while being a tough negotiator is key. Our homes sell quickly because of our high quality photography, attention to detail and innovative internet and social media based marketing. Our marketing attracts buyers both locally and those that are relocating from out of state. We have an extensive network of agents nationwide who we assist with client relocation regularly, it is not uncommon for our buyer team to find the buyer for your home.

4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
We LOVE working with our past clients time and time again. It is always an honor when we have done a great job for a client and when their life is changing they call on us again - it reaffirms that we are able to take great care of the clients we appreciate so much.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
Prior to real estate Shaunna was a in the mortgage industry, and when the market turned she made the leap into real estate. Building a business from the ground up, Shaunna worked as an assistant for 1 year prior to obtaining her real estate license and growing the top producing team we have today. With over 900 homes sold across North Carolina, this team is ready to assist with your real estate needs.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
An education in business and marketing at Elon University prepared Shaunna for the level of marketing needed in today's tech savvy real estate market.
