We were contacted by The Overman Group advisor who then connected us with Amanda Rodriquez. Within a few hour we received a call from Amanda who, aside from the formal introductory, inquired us about what kind of criteria we were looking for in a home. Without wasting time and without missing a beat, Amanda forwarded us homes that met our requirements to our email. When we first met Amanda in person we knew she was the Agent for us. She has an indescribable positive vibe to her when we were in her presence. We viewed a few homes then we found our new home within two months of house hunting. She showed us several promising properties, but we had complicated requirements and none of the properties were quite right. However, it was clear from our first meeting that Rebecca was the perfect realtor for us as she was so warm, genuine, honest, and ethical in all our interactions. She doggedly worked for 12 months to find us our perfect home. Since we were out-of-state buyers, Rebecca would often visit homes on our behalf with cell phone in hand narrating her video tours with honest assessments of the good, the bad, and the sometimes ugly of each property. ZillowVERIFIED Shaunna Overman and her team are the best realty group I have ever worked with in 40 years of being involved with the development community in various major cities such as New Orleans and Charlotte.I brought her a troubled rental property that was slated for demolition but appeared worth saving. It wasn't worth much so we quickly worked out a flat fee if she could find a buyer or investor. While I was doubtful about finding someone at all, Shaunna was nothing but positive in a low-key convincing way. After touring the property and securing it well (we don't live near it), she marketed it and got hundreds of views on Zillow and about 100 saves. I was amazed. During all this, Shaunna was always a phone call or text away and seemed to work well into the evening. I had to actually suggest she shut down and get a glass of wine as no house is worth working such late and long hours.Now the punch line, she delivered a number of offers including two identical ones about 50% above the purchase price four years ago. So, after about one month from start to finish she sold the property for us and it just closed. Well done, Shaunna and team!
