ZillowVERIFIED Shauna has been in town for a very long time and it seemed she was always selling homes, so we reached out to her to get a feel for the market. She came with her daughter and listened to our thoughts and concerns. She explained the various tools she uses to market homes and gave us her opinion as to how best to sell our home. I told her we would think about it all and get back to her. It took about a week to decide if we wanted to sell and the whole time, Shauna did not call or try to pressure us. That was such a relief. We wanted to make the decision ourselves and did not want pressure. When we decided to sell, she was "on it". She was very organized, and had movers, stagers, everyone on speed dial. Our house was on the market for less than a day, and we closed in 7 days. We did not want to have the house sit or sift through low ball offers and do the bidding war game. She knew what price to list the home to avoid this. We sold for more than what we expected and it went as smooth as possible given a 7 day escrow. I would use her again in a heartbeat. Her suggestion on how to price the house given the local market conditions was spot-on and, by the way, higher than we had thought the market would bare! Shauna activated her network of broker contacts immediately after we hired her and even before we had the house actively on the market, we had a full-price offer with few contingencies! Shauna was hands-on in every phase of the home sale process, from inspections to appraisals to escrow to closing. This especially came in handy as the our buyer encountered some issues with her mortgage approval timeline. Her local knowledge was evident in surfacing accurate sales comparables to aid us in our decision to buy the chosen property and steer clear of another property we had investigated. Her process expertise was evident in her interactions with the title company specifically concerning CC&R issues. Further, Shauna interacted well with our attorney, providing information requested. Her responsiveness was in full view regarding the timeliness of comments helpful to our attorney and finance information provided our CFO Her negotiation skills enable us to reach agreement with the seller. Especially this skill was on display in our final sit down meeting with the seller where all open items were agreed. .
