Shasta was extremely helpful during this process. None of the hiccups were on her side and she helped smooth it out seamlessly for us. It was out first time selling our home and a were very unsure of the entire process, what the documents meant in 'plain english' etc. Shasta was always available to lay it out simply and take away all the feelings that could and would have overwhelmed us. ZillowVERIFIED If you are a first time home buyer please think twice about using Shasta or her team. Yes, this is a team thing which means there is a realtor and a transaction coordinator. I found the home we wanted to look at I had Shasta show us the home and after our purchase agreement was signed and agreed on with the Seller.....Shasta fell of the face of the earth. We still had questions about issues and she wouldnt return our phone calls or text messages. We were told by her many things that we could have asked for but none of it got wrote into the purchase agreement and when we asked the transaction coordinator about it she said she knew nothing about it so it never got done. So we just dealt with it. When it came time for closing which was about a month and half later becuase the USDA loan process was backed up all of a sudden Shasta pops out of nowhere sending us a a bunch of text messages about wanting to know when we were signing at the title company. We hadnt heard a single thing from her since the start and when she got involved at the end she was NOT on top of what was going on at all and it was very frustrating. When it came time for the final walk through it was obvious there was some tension and not once did she applogize or ask why I was upset. She knew I was from when we had texted a few days prior. During the walk through she did not give me my space to look at things. She was right up in my face and if I made a comment to myself about something she made comments not that I would expect to be coming from my realtor. Her comments were as if they were coming from the Seller's agent. Not once was she supportive in my comments about the final walk through. As for gadgets we needed to work in the house she replied with " I think AND we should get the information" We still havnt got that information either. She basically told us we had to deal with the house and the issues or loose everything. She basically left us out to hang. To close on the house we had to have an extra addendum written and all weekend she did nothing. Sunday evening I emailed the transaction coordinator and she said she knew nothing about it. Come Monday evening Shasta still had not called to have that done and we were supoose to close that day. It took my husband threathening her with lawyers until it got done and technically I dont think she ever did call it.....the transaction coordinator just did it. This was a HORRIBLE experience for a first time home buyer. We are NOT excited about our house. We are drianed emotionally and when we go to upgrade and sell our house we will NOT go back to Shasta and or her TEAM. Its really sad we had to have this experience. I know we bought a small house and Im sure her commission is not a great deal but I think we should have deserved the same treatment as anyone else.It says here on Zillow that she has 22 years experience? She does not. She is a young girl. This is very misleading to people.
