Shannon Wilks

Shannon Wilks is leading the market with her personal approach to real estate and her driven desire to help her clientele find the perfect home. Shannon finds true gratification in helping those, who dream of owning a home, a reality. Having been raised in Alabama, Shannon's knowledge of the Birmingham Metro marketplace is extensive and valuable to her clients. Shannon moved from the medical field into real estate in 2015. Even though this was a change in fields, career wise, it has been one that has been immensely enjoyed from the start. Shannon quickly gained success through her dedication, attention to detail and genuine service she continues to provide all of her buyer and sellers. In 2019 Shannon opened her own Brokerage in Birmingham with her business partner, Jonny Cates, called Sold South Realty. In a years time they have ranked alongside some of other prestigious brokerages and were awarded the Best Places to Work in 2020 & Best Place to Work for Young Professionals by the Birmingham Business Journal. Her tenacity and dedication to not only her success, but the success of others is unmatched. This was proven by The Birmingham Association of Realtors naming her "Broker of the Year" in 2021. She exemplifies professionalism, tenacity, courage, diligence and trust. She is truly one to emulate after. Shannon has 3 beautiful sons; Caden, Deacon, and Jagan. Shannon enjoys spending time with her children, playing soccer and hiking. In addition, she is an Alabama Football fan (Roll Tide). Shannon graduated Virginia College with a degree in Surgical Science and also attended Jefferson State where she studied Biology. Shannon graduated with her degrees and was a member of the Gamma Beta Phi National Honor Society. She was awarded scholar athlete her senior year. With her dedication to her studies and her tenacious desire to succeed, Shannon's goal is to not only meet, but exceed your expectations.
