1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Before you start looking at homes, speak with a lender. This will help you determine how much you will be approved to buy, what your monthly payments will be, like tax and how much you will need to bring to closing. The lender will also go over total cost and what is included in your loan like tax and insurance. Choose a local Realtor® who has your best interest in mind. Someone who doesn’t try to over sell you and keeps you within your comfortable means.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Hire a Realtor®. More times than not a Realtor® can get you more value for your home and take the added stress of selling off of you and help make the process go smoother. Don’t trust websites for a home value, speak with your local Realtor® who knows the area and ask for a free home valuation report. Pull bios and client reviews of several different Realtors® then narrow this down to 2-3 Realtors® to interview. Ask questions such as what’s the average variation between your initial listing and final price, how many homes did you sell last year, and is real estate your full-time job?

My favorite transactions are the ones where my clients become friends. And, it happens a lot! In fact, three of my former clients now work on the Shannon Sells Team!
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
During the process of selling my first home, the agent I was working with told me that real estate seemed like it would be a great career fit for my personality. I took her suggestion to heart and decided to give it a try. Very quickly, I realized that the sales aspect of real estate came naturally to me and that I had a real passion for helping my clients. After sixteen years in the business, I have worked with clients to find every type of property imaginable, both residential and commercial. In addition to working with buyers and sellers, I have also flipped houses and owned and managed rental properties.

Pam did a great job helping my wife and I purchase our first home! We got in contact with Pam after a great review from a friend. We texted her and she helped us figure out what we were looking for.
