Our research process was to look for agents with attractive listings and listings that sold relatively quickly and close to the asking price. We were able to come up with a small list of agents to interview. In interviewing, all of the agents did very well (expected since we had already preselected what were probably some of the best agents in the area). But Shane stood out with his personable demeanor and by articulating how he would market our house and why. While marketing and selling our house, the whole Odd Couple Team stood out by actually working like a team. Jason provided staging direction that made our house look and show marvelously; Nina (contracted photographer) took great pictures of our house; Amy kept us on schedule towards listing and kept us informed of the marketing progress; and Linsey kept us on track for the selling process as well as helping to keep the buyers process on track (we had not previously considered the buying risk management that a selling agent may need to do). In addition to getting our listing on every major listing site, it was clear that Shane effectively networked with other agents to maximize the marketing of our house. We received two offers and Shane provided insightful council in the counter-offer process. We are glad that we hired The Odd Couple Team as our selling agent and would do so again should we sell.
