Shanan Steere leads Shanan Group as the lead listing and buyer's agent. She has a 23-year career in real estate and a prior 7 years in the pharmaceutical & surgical sales industry. The first 8 years in the KC metro area she sold around 550 homes then launched a real estate national franchise in the Shawnee area. She is a certified John Maxwell coach and trainer and has trained/coached over 3500 agents in a 7 weeks sales/mindset class across North America. She understands customer service from her experience in coaching others to build systems around consistency and performance. She is first a Mom, then a tenacious entrepreneur. She re-launched her team in early 2016 and Shanan Group was formed. In 2016, Shanan Group (AKA...SRG) sold 51 homes. 2017, Shanan Group SOLD 78 homes, and 2018 over 70 transactions. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Schedule a consultation to walk they the entire process and set up a search either by Zoom or in person.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Prepare your home as a blank canvas that they can paint their picture on from scratch.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
Right sizing, moving up, new construction, first time, listings relocation and investors.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Assisting a seller who had hired three other agents before me. It was a matter of telling their story through pictures and video. We also raised the price!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I was in pharmaceuticals and surgical devices in my early 20’s and was looking for more independence and ability to help people vs. market for a company. Jumped in at 29 and 22 years of exciting real estate from training agents across North America in a 7 weeks sales course and coaching leaders to RE-launching my team in 2016. So many facets in real estate!
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Yes! I coached offices and agents all over the country which gave me a wide variety of marketing and tech tools for my clients. Also a John Maxwell certified coach which is awesome when talking with high Execs and assisting them with their moves:)
