During a really stressful time when we were trying to sell our old house out of state while buying a new house in Santa Cruz, he was there every step of the way, providing us with reminders which helped us ease our nerves and ensure we werent missing any crucial steps. Seb offers an honest perspective and will advise you whether or not to consider a property. Communication via text and email are great. He creates video walkthroughs, which were especially useful for us as much of our time was spent remotely searching for listings. Its also worth mentioning that Seb knows a lot of contractors and is willing to share his expertise about the area. We searched around Aptos and Scotts Valley but ultimately decided on a beautiful, affordable condo near the beach in Santa Cruz, right next to our preferred school and convenient to shops and a decent work commute. During this meeting he asked excellent questions that helped us both refine and expand our home search parameters. During the home search, Seb was great about finding potential houses for us to look at and consider. He would often do a previsit for us and create a short, narrated video of a particular home, so that we could see it before investing valuable time in an actual appointment. Once we found the home we wanted to buy, Seb was extremely patient and responsive (even while he was on a holiday vacation with his family) as he walked us through the somewhat complicated process of buying a short sale home. His expertise of the local housing market helped us put together a winning bid that beat out 10 other offers. He is very knowledgeable about the Real Estate Market in the San Lorenzo Valley and he has years of experience. I do not believe I could have gotten a higher price for my home than what Seb was able to get for me - $5000 over asking (and I thought the asking price was really pushing the market to begin with). It all happened so incredibly quickly as well, I think we closed in 21 days. He also made the process fun. What more could you ask for in a Realtor.?!?! I couldn't recommend Seb higher!

ZillowVERIFIED I had my mind set on a particular house that was increasingly looking as though I couldn't get into it. The house seemed out of my reach. It was a foreclosure and up for auction. One day a friend suggested I contact Seb to get his input on the situation. Maybe there was something he could doI called Seb that evening and after giving him the rundown on the situation he explained how to go about it. He clearly demonstrated his expertise for this type of deal so I asked him right then and there if he would start in on it. It was great! Less than five minutes later we had a backup auction bid submitted on the house. Wasn't more than a few hours later that the bid was accepted.Over the next few days things went quick as Seb further worked the details to make the deal happen. We worked through the contract, the inspections, and all the other requirements. He also recommended an excellent finance company that, like Seb, demonstrated a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a "make it happen" attitude.This is my first home purchase and I kept thinking that something has got to give -as things were running so smoothly. All along though, Seb demonstrated confidence in that soon I'd have the place, and not to worry. Sure enough a few weeks later escrow closed!All through the process Seb demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, knowledge, and experience. So Seb identified a few parts of the complex that I said would work for me, and wrote to all the owners there. He found one that was in fact interested in selling, and after some tricky negotiation was able to get me a great deal on an awesome unit. Seb was so great, we have become friends and next time I need a new property in Aptos I'll be calling upon him again.

ZillowVERIFIED I have nothing but good things to say about Seb. He was our realtor when we were looking for a house a few years ago. Our budget was small, but our dreams were big. We'd heard of agents who pressure their clients to quickly choose between a few choices, so we were ready to "stand firm" so as not to be pressured into making a rash decision. It turns out that Seb had our best interests at heart. He even dissuaded us from settling on a couple houses because he knew that the house had considerable flaws (such as a cracked foundation or a terrible neighborhood) and we would regret our decision. In the end, we went house hunting with Seb almost every other weekend from January to April of 2008 - that's a LOT of searching. He was always responsive to our requests and never got tired when showing us homes. We love the home we are in - it is just perfect for us. There were never any surprises as we closed on the house.
