About Sean Keene

Sean is a native Oregonian, born and raised in the Salem area. He obtained his real estate license in 2007 just as the market was heading into a downturn. "This was actually to my advantage because I had to roll up my sleeves and learn how to market and sell a home in a market where there were not a lot of buyers. I retired from corrections and law enforcement after over 20 years to pursue my passion and dream to help people with their real estate needs. My background has provided me with the opportunity to work closely with a wide variety of people of various ages and cultures." In January of 2016 Sean's wife, Kim, joined him and they started The Keene Group real estate team and their business took off. "My family and I currently live in West Salem, Oregon where we are involved in many parts of the community. We are members of the West Salem Business association along with avid supporters of youth sports throughout Salem. I have coached youth sports with in the community for almost 20 years and enjoy the opportunity to give back."

Sean Keene was absolutely amazing to work with. As a first time home buyer I had zero idea on how this process worked. Sean took the time to walk me though all the details. Sean and Maddie and the Reger team were very helpful in our search for our new home. It can be a nerve wracking time, and it took us awhile to determine just exactly what we were looking for. Sean was always willing to show us a home, even if it was remarkably different from the last one we looked at. Eventually we narrowed down our five or so most important points, and we ended up finding something in West Salem, an area Sean knows very well. He was able to recommend local contractors for many services we were interested in.
