Between our first visit to the house, through today (we still send him occasional inquiries about house operations) Scott has been engaged and communicative. Leading up to closing he handled a multitude of issues with the seller, also middling transactions with our house inspector, our lawyer, our mortgage company, our new house insurer, and the broker handling the sale of our prior house in another state. He had a practical solution for every issue. We started the process of finding a house on the Cape months before with another broker. However, over time we concluded that the prior broker didn't really understand us and lacked communication skills. We were delighted to meet and start working with Scott. I also had numerous questions and assistance needed with finding contractors for more detailed inspections and he was tremendous during the whole buying process. The inspection came back with several items that needed to be done, including scraping and painting the exterior in the middle of the winter.
