About Scott Warren

I pride myself on being able to handle just about anything that this business throws my way, from first time buyers to seasoned investors and everything in-between. When working with buyers, my ultimate goal is not to "sell" anyone anything; I much prefer to listen and pay attention to your needs and wants and then help you find them. When working with sellers, my goal is to help you prepare your property for an easy sell. My experience has taught me that there are no tricks or gimmicks that are productive. First impressions, timing, effective marketing, and most importantly pricing are what will bring a buyer to the table. Pricing tends to be the most difficult in this market, as the word "comparable" is an oxymoron in The High Country. In most cases, buyers are not shopping square footage, beds, baths, etc... They are looking for setting, character, & ambiance. My knowledge & experience from living here for two decades helps me to put value on property that a simple calculation cannot do. I have also held a position on the local Habitat for Humanity construction committee for the past several years and believe in its mission to help the less fortunate obtain the American Dream of Homeownership. Besides being a genuinely pleasant fellow to work with, Scott Warren is now one of two (I have another up north) truly terrific realtors Ive worked withaEUR| and, unfortunately, Ive experienced some not so terrific realtors through the years (just so you know Ive got grounds for comparison.) As executor for an estate with two properties to sell in Watauga Co. and having to do so from a distance (I live overseas), Scott made the process of both sales painless (well, at least for me. He did some unexpected aEUR~grunt work that was truly appreciated.) Having no frame of reference for the market in that area, Scott did a great job of managing my understanding and expectations and then proceeded to exceed them. His years of experience, confidence and warm demeanor almost make me wish I had another property to sell thereaEUR| ok, maybe not, but if I did Scott would be my go to!
