Scott Van Son

Scott was born in Huntington and lived in Lloyd Harbor until graduating from Cold Spring Harbor High School in 1989. He then graduated from the school of management at Boston University with a BS/BA in Business Administration. After college Scott moved to New York City where he started his family and worked for Pershing Llc. of parent Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette. After fourteen years and several corporate mergers Scott retired from The Bank of New York. He and his family moved back to Lloyd Harbor took over the family house he grew up in. His wife Bernadette works as a foreign exchange salesperson for Barclays, and now for Merrill Lynch Bank of America. Scott was a "stay at home dad" for the last five years as their children started school. Their two children currently attend Lloyd Harbor Elementary school.
He is active in the community serving for two years as the PTG Treasurer at Goosehill Primary School. Currently Scott is a Community Committee Member with the Cold Spring Harbor Foundation. This is a non-profit that benefits the local high school.
