ZillowVERIFIED I highly recommend the brokers at Team Newman. Specifically, Morgan Meeker was very helpful with finding an apartment for myself and my partner to rent. The place was beautiful, it met all our criteria, and he found it for us within 2 weeks. We scheduled a day to visit 3 places after a couple of weeks of talking. This place was one of those three and we signed that day. We didnt expect to find something on our first (and only) day of viewings, but it Morgan made it easy. I couldnt be happier with the service we got with while working with this brokerage. Scott Newman runs a great team and gives a personal touch that I have not experienced with brokers or realtors in the past. He genuinely cared and put his best person on the job to help us out. Scott and his team were responsive and understood that my priority was selling quickly with as little disruption to the tenants as possible. Scott priced the unit such that we received multiple, above ask offers within 24 hours of hosting a one-hour open house in the space. His ability to generate buzz for the property meant real savings - no staging, no extra month mortgage payment and a higher selling price than I was quoted by other agents I had interviewed. ZillowVERIFIED Working with the Newman team was awesome. His first priority was to have multiple conversations with me about what my ideal situation was. Digging in deep to figure out exactly what was best for me. There was no pressure throughout which made it nice. I was hoping to find the best option for an investment property, Scott recommended a 203K FHA loan for a multi-unit, which I had heard about and the more he taught me about it the more it made sense. He also has done 203ks himself which is rare to find as it turns out! Not only did he help me find an amazing fixer-upper but he's been involved thereafter! Definitely using them again for future purchases & I'd recommend them to anyone who is on the hunt in Chicago.
