ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I contacted Scott to sell our home in Autumn 2016. We lived in his neighborhood, so we figured he would be knowledgable on the area. The first thing he asked us upon entering the house is if we were first-time sellers, which we were. Scott's pitch was professional, and he was very personable. At the end of the pitch, Scott recommended we list our house at $217k and drop it to $210k if it didn't sell within 30 days. We felt this was an extremely low estimate and objected both in person immediately and over a follow-up phone call where we listed multiple comparables that contradicted his suggested price. At one point, Scott insisted our home would not appraise for $250k and dissuaded us from getting an independent appraisal (I still don't understand this). We felt Scott was significantly undervaluing our property and did not follow up with him further. To his credit, he reached out a few days later and left a message stating he may have undervalued our home. We did not return the call to find out by how much because we already knew that was the case and no longer trusted his assessment skills.Ultimately, a different agent from a separate company sold our home in 38 days at a full asking price of $297,500, which is roughly the number we had anticipated, and the home appraised for the full amount.Scott was professional, and he seemed like a nice guy, but he also almost cost us $80,000, and that is the sole reason I leave this review. Scott did, in fact, call back to state he felt he had undervalued our home, but by that point, the damage had been done. I firmly believe if we would have agreed to his initial pitch, our home would have sold immediately at the low-ball price, and we would have lost out on a large sum of money. We leave Scott 3-stars because we don't feel it's appropriate to hurt someone's rating further when we were not, in fact, a client of this agent, and because he did attempt to follow up.

He was very personable, knowledgeable and upfront with where he thought the house would sell in comparison to the listing price. Once we had an offer (after about 4 weeks), we dealt almost exclusively with George (Scott's Transaction Coordinator). George was very responsive and easy to work with, even while dealing with...in my opinion...a difficult Buyer. Overall, we are very satisfied with Scott and his team because they helped us sell where previous attempts (with other agencies) had failed.

ZillowVERIFIED I contracted Scott to list and sell my house. While the house did sell in a quick time, it was not Scott's doing, the house sold itself. I met Scott one time and that was during initial listing. He made his initial assessment of what to sell the house for low, probably to push it fast. I told him a higher number and subsequently sold it for 5,000 more than his initial requested price. During closing, Scott was not around and had one of his other employee's attend closing, of which he was late for. Months later now, I received a letter in the mail from Scott, addressed to my address with the buyers name on the letter. Inside was my HUD1 form, for tax time, but the letter was made out to the buyer (who used another real estate company). Scott, or should I say his associates could not even get a letter addressed to the proper person.I would not recommend Scott. He is not easy to get in contact with, nor can his team do the simplest mailings. He pushes a lot of volume and must use a big team of people, but this has disassociated him from being personal. If you want to connect with a realtor, do not use Scott.

ZillowVERIFIED Contacted his office and left number to call, also emailed him on this site, no response until approximately one week later when I got a email saying his assistant would contact me in the next couple days, I responded with a " your assistant I should going to call me back, after 7 days"..etc. at which time his response was you didn't leave your phone, which I did at his office not on the email. However, he never responded to my email and was quite the smart aleck in his follow up emails, I called another agent I was working with and went through this very nice home, at the same time there was another house in the same development for sale, I loved it just as much, and the scale was tipped, I was not giving this guy any commission. The house is still for sale, approx. A year, and in a great market and development, I wonder why??

Scott also showed exacting knowledge in helping us find new properties in the our chosen area and price range.
