Review We worked with Scott on buying a house that he owned, renovated, and was listed by him through his company. We were hesitant at first to work through him since it was his flip, however he reassured us that he cared about his reputation and wouldnt try to sell us an unsafe home. We put in an offer and it was accepted shortly after, but it took Scott about 2 days to send us the contract. During that time he ignored our messages and other attempts to reach out to him, so we were unsure of what was going on. Nothing was official yet as we only had a verbal agreement so it left us in a bit of a panic. He eventually did get back to us with the contract and stated that he was busy with an Ohio State party. The red flags were there, but we really wanted the house so we ignored them and signed the contract. Once the inspection was completed, it came back very poorly. The foundation and roof needed a ton of work and the attic and crawl space were covered and I mean covered in animal feces. There was even a fairly large animal carcass found in the crawl space along with other issues and a very strong smell. He again reassured us that he wanted to sell us a safe home and cared about his reputation too much to not do so which was laughable at this point. We decided to get a realtor to represent us for the renegotiation process as we no longer trusted Scott and nowhere in the contract did it say we were being represented by him or anyone for that matter. Unsurprisingly, Scott would not allow it giving us a hard no and stating, Im not paying the guy. We were beginning to have serious doubts about the house, so after speaking to a trusted contractor about the inspection report we decided to go in a different direction. We let Scott know of our intentions, but he did not take too kindly to it stating that he was very disappointed and even tried low balling the repair costs to a measly 5k which we all knew was not even close to accurate and was an indicator to us that he wasnt going to reasonably negotiate a new deal. He also sent us a passive aggressive I hope you find a brand new home text which was pretty comical. I asked him to void the earnest check per the inspection contingency as well as send us the termination contract, however it took them almost a week to send it and they went on to deposit the earnest check 5 days later only to call me about a refund the very next day. Scott was very unpleasant to work with, unprofessional, had very poor responsiveness, etc. I definitely do not recommend using him as a realtor.

He got a good and fair price for the home. The best part, is that I had moved out of state, and I didnt have to make a trip back throughout the entire process. However he is still very personable and quick with communication. He sincerely listens and created an achievable plan that I was comfortable with. If there was an obstacle, hed already have a plan to remove it and act swiftly to complete it. It may be clichA(C), but he truly made me feel as if I was his only client. We worked the deal out for my new condo in a couple of hours and we had my home sold (under contract) in 4 days! Scott went above and beyond in both transactions. I wanted to replace the flooring in my new condo before I moved in. Scott ensured the contract gave me enough time to accomplish this. Review My wife and I contacted Scott when we were in a pretty urgent situation. We had already sold our home as we were planning to build our dream home in the near futureaEUR| then building costs skyrocketed to an unaffordable price for us, and we had to reevaluate. We contacted a few different agents so that all our eggs werent in 1 basketaEUR| because in a few months we would be homeless (or renting). Of the realtors we contacted, Scott was the 1 we truly felt went to work for us. We told him we looked at everything available on realtor/Zillow 100xs but werent interested in any current listings. We gave Scott an idea of what we were looking for (which honestly was really specific and thought it might be impossible in the timeframe we needed). Scott got us in to see 3 or 4 homes before they hit the market, and somehow found the exact home we were seeking. We made an offer and the sellers accepted within an hour. From that day to closing, it was seem-less. Scott was responsive, informative, and professional from beginning to end. (Then he sold our vacant lot within 2 week). We would recommend Scott to anyone needing a real estate agent. Thank you again, Scott!

Review Spoke with him the week before to schedule an appointment. Drove 12 hours to see the home. He didn't however show up. Called and got him on the phone. He apparently forgot to put me on his schedule. He would try to find someone to come show me the home. Not I'm on my way right now instead, after 12 hours of driving to be on time for my appointment. I should wait for someone to be found. However, I had another home scheduled in another state that afternoon to view so I couldn't sit around waiting. He apologize and said he had another home that was coming up with a pool will send me the information. So I was like ok he is still trying so I will forgive the wasted time. An entire week later and I have yet to receive the email with the other home. I have not contacted him back again about either home. Can not speak of his knowledge or negotiation skills but his respect for people's time needs improvement. Driving 12 hours with a 7-year-old to have your time wasted and not even enough respect to send the 2nd home.
