She is honest and wont try to just sell you any house to make a commission. She wants to make sure you buy a house that is right for you. We flew down for a week in September for the sole purpose of finding the right house. Scott had a schedule set up to visit 43 potential homes. We found the perfect home for us and closed on November 15th. He was excellent to work with and showed strong patience with us. He was very knowledgeable but did not try to pressure us at all. His advise was thoughtful and on the mark. I just sent his contact information to my brother how is considering buying a home in this area. ZillowVERIFIED I was interested in moving to Sarasota county from the West coast. Obviously living 2500 miles away, I needed someone to be my eyes and ears while searching for a home. Scott was knowledgeable, professional and worked hard to negotiate the deal. There are certain issues both mechanical and cosmetic which have since occurred or noticed at the home which could have been addressed with a more detailed home inspection. This is more on the inspector than Scott. I would recommend Scott Langa.

The property, which I purchased, became a very difficult deal due to encroachments by a neighbor and various title problems. Jan and Scott obtained advice from numerous County agencies, Public utilities and private contractors, in our effort to complete the purchase. We searched and searched both coasts of Florida and were lucky enough to meet Scott in Sarasota and were immediately comfortable and impressed with his honest, calm, laid back demeanor. He seemed more like a wise friend than a 'salesman' kind of realtor. So even though months passed as we looked at many homes on both east and west coasts, when we returned to the west coast we got in touch with Scott again and he was immediately responsive. He is such a great communicator, especially when it comes to quick responses via text, email and phone calls. After looking at many, many homes all along the west coast, we finally found a neighborhood we liked and even though it was an hour away from Scott's base, he was willing to meet us anytime to help us search in the area we had decided upon.When we finally found the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood for us, there was a lot of difficult negotiation and Scott stuck with us throughout, again, an amazing and efficient communicator. We would also like to say that it was very helpful having Scott and Jan Langa work in tandem...it wasn't often that Scott was unavailable but if he was, Jan was always there. We had several offers and took the highest one. Jan & Scott kept us informed of every person and comments about the house which was great since we lived in another state. We had complete confidence in leaving the house in their hands to sell. It didn't take long and we had the offer we wanted and moved on to purchasing a new house.
