He knew prior builders, land issues, very familiar with the school districts and just overall familiar with the whole area. ZillowVERIFIED I was buying my first house and had no idea where to start. Scott was recommended to me by a good friend, so I gave him a call. Within the first 5 minutes he knew what I was looking for and the search began. He used this program that basically sent me a list of several new houses each day, and if I saw one I was interested in, I'd call him up and we would go look at it that day if he was available, which he almost always was. I didn't know a lot about what I was looking at when we were doing our walks through each house we looked at, but that was ok. Scott was knowledgeable about anything I had questions about, often pointing out things I never would have noticed. I could go on and on about how great of an agent he is, but if you're looking to buy a house, find out for yourself and give Scott Hagar a call.

I gave him a call because he had a lot of positive reviews and the first day we spoke we spent about 45 minutes covering everything I could possibly think of, and a lot of things I had not thought of, regarding buying a house. Scott really did make me feel like his only client and was available/present when he said he would be. I appreciated being able to meet with him after normal working hours, since I work during the day. This was my first experience buying a house and it was extremely positive. I like to research things before I dive in, but I still learned SO much working with Scott. The inspectors and title company he recommended also worked out very nicely. I have already given his name to a few friends I know might be looking soon, and will continue to do so!

ZillowVERIFIED Scott was great to work with and was amazingly responsive (fast!) to all of our requests. He quickly learned our preferences and was extremely patient with us as we looked at many houses, even suggesting and scheduling others that we may not otherwise have found. He has extensive knowledge of both city and county, and a great network of people before and after the sale (inspectors, title companies, contractors, fencing companies, etc.) He also offers clients a customized web portal in which you can search and rate as many houses as you want to help direct which ones you want to look at or not. It's been seven months since we bought our house with Scott and he still keeps in touch to this day. If you're looking to buy a house, I would definitely recommend him!

While we were looking at new homes he was sure to look at the little things that my husband and I overlooked during our excitement. He treated us like family, meaning he was always straightforward and honest no matter the subject of discussion. While selling our old home he walked us through everything from paperwork and legalities to advising us of the smartest places to put our tiny budget. During closing there was a mixup with the finance guy who did not show up. Scott jumped right in and said he can walk us through the paperwork himself!! I would HIGHLY recommend Scott Hagar to anybody getting into the market (buying or selling - we used him for both!).
