My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Sandy Kay. Bottom line is you want Sandy on your Team, no question!This was our first time buying a home and we had more questions than answers. Sandy was very patient as we searched for several weeks. She took diligent note of our many (and often scattered) comments as we walked through different homes and would use that to help fine tune our future searches and help us remember all the different choices. Sandy provided a great sense of stability and a method to our madness that really helped us tackle this process.We soon learned that we were most interested in buying a new build aEURoespecaEUR? home. Walking into a model home with the many sales agents swarming at the door can be overwhelming. Not to mention, the builders sales agents have much more knowledge about the ins and outs (and critical aEURoeloopholesaEUR?) that can give them the upper hand. But Sandy handled this all with ease. We felt very confident interacting with the sales agents with Sandy there. She provided a strong and professional line between us and the sales agents, allowing me and my wife to not be distracted, and instead, focus on the main objective: finding our new home.While looking at various houses, Sandy had great perspective. She looked at every home as if she were making the investment herself. She didnt try to aEURoesellaEUR? anything. She simply gave us the pros and cons straight up and let us make the decision from there. Some sales agents would even jokingly ask aEURoeWhy are you telling them that?!aEUR? But this only built our trust with Sandy stronger. We were very appreciative to have someone truly looking out for our best interests.Negotiating a contract with a builder (and any seller for that matter) is challenging and complex but this is where Sandys many years of experience shined. She strategized with us before entering the model about what questions we needed answered, what offer we could make, and what our alternative plans were given different responses from the seller. During negotiations, Sandy was brilliant, making sure we got the best deal possible, not only on the sales price but also on upgrades, closing costs, etc. Again, Sandy is seasoned and meticulous in this arena and it really helped us through this part of the process.Finally, the personality of your realtor is a key aspect. You spend a lot of time with your realtor! Whether it be on the phone, over email, or in person, you get to know your agent really well. Sandy was a pleasure to be with. Very personable, pleasant, and easy to talk to. And we had a little 2-yr old son in tow during the whole process. She would even play catch with him while my wife and I were looking at a house (he still asks for her ??).Sandy has our full recommendation, to say the least, and we will use her again in a heartbeat for any future real estate needs.Thank you Sandy for everything!
