ZillowVERIFIED We met Sandy in 2015 when she helped us purchase our first home in College Park. Our perfect little bungalow was so centrally located that we thought we'd never need to sell... That is, until we decided to have a baby! When my wife and I realized that we were going to need more space, Sandy was the only person I trusted to help list our home and look for someplace new. Being completely inexperienced with selling a home, we had a lot of questions and Sandy diligently walked us through the process. Of course, the market slowed down right as we listed, but despite that challenge, Sandy continued to find us potential buyers and we ended up getting multiple offers on our home! While navigating the closing process, Sandy also took us out each weekend to different areas within Orange and Seminole counties to show us all the homes we requested and then some. We relied on Sandy's wealth of knowledge to do an initial assessment and rule out homes that were not going to work for us. When we finally found the home we wanted, Sandy's skillful negotiation helped us get everything we asked for to close our deal! You'd think that would be it, but when we experienced a hiccup with our home after we moved in, I reached back out to Sandy and she got in contact with the seller's agent to resolve the issue quickly. Sandy reached out immediately, and scheduled us a time to see the space. From the minute we met her, we knew we couldn't work with anyone else. Sandy is incredibly knowledgeable, resourceful, and confident in her abilities to find you the exact house youre looking for. She offers fantastic recommendations, and doesnt waste time (yours or hers) looking at homes that arent a good fit. As a first-time home-buyer, there is SO much that goes into this extremely daunting experience. If you don't have the proper support or advice, problems can quickly arise. Sandy gave us her full support from the first handshake. We wanted to look at other properties, and Sandy was more than happy to help. She always had our best interest in mind, and was consistent and honest with us from the start. Sandy gathered enough information about what we were looking for, and found our dream home. From the minute we pulled into the driveway, we instantly knew this house was the one. Sandy saw our enthusiasm, and immediately went to work to get us this house. I should add this was the Friday night before the July 4th weekend... She handed me a card for her mortgage guy and told me to contact him. I contacted him that night, and we spoke for over an hour! I was reaching out to listing agents or other premier agents as promoted by Zillow/other sites. Each realtor that I interacted with was respectable in their own right, but they either 1. provided no value or information that I wouldn't have otherwise been able to find myself or 2. they were very pushy with their opinions of the home. All interactions further cemented the idea that I wanted to continue the process without a buyer's realtor.I reached out to Sandy to view a home that she was listed as a premier agent on. She responded very quickly and we set up a time to meet at the home after work that day. I was running a bit late, but true to form, Sandy was extremely courteous and patient while I walked through the house. She had an in-depth spec sheet prepared on comparable homes in the area. While going through the home, we made small talk and she discussed her background in construction and some of the other similar homes in the area. I liked the home well enough and asked Sandy her opinion of it. She pointed out structural flaws that both my father and I had overlooked and listed the costs needed for it to be move in ready (which I made clear was a priority for me). She also spoke to some of the other qualities/characteristics that I was looking for that I didn't even realize I had mentioned earlier. I realized that Sandy would be a huge asset in the process.Sandy showed me probably 30 - 40 homes. In every one, Sandy was prepared with data on the surrounding area, information on what work the home had and when (by pulling work permits), and ideas on what things could be done to make it more what I was looking for. Sandy was extremely patient as she was peppered with questions from me and my family, that tended to tag along. If she didn't know an answer, which was rare, she would find the answer and promptly get it back to me.Because Sandy was so in-touch with what I was looking for, she sent me an email late one night of a listing that had been posted a couple of hours earlier and she said "This could be it, but it will go fast. Are you available tomorrow?"She was right on both: with multiple bids by the next day, it did go quickly and my new house is exactly what I was looking for. :)Sandy wasnt trying to just sell me a home, she was trying to find the right home for me. I could go on and on as to why to have Sandy represent you in either the home buying or selling process, but I suggest that you just reach out to Sandy and set up a meeting. Within a few hours of our initial conversation, Sandy sent us a very helpful guide for first-time homebuyers and set up a property search profile for us based on our "must haves" and "like-to-haves" in a home. We had a ton of questions and Sandy was available to us by e-mail, phone, and even text. We appreciated the fact that Sandy helped us prepare for the reality of buying a home and all of the stressors involved. Because houses in the 32803/32804 area sell so quickly, Sandy made herself readily available to take us to any property we wanted to see as soon as it came on the market. She came prepared with specs on each house and had a keen eye for details, such as spotting potential issues that may be flagged during inspection. The property that we ultimately bought was one that Sandy found for us. As she is well-established in the real estate business, she has great relationships with other key players in the home buying process. We were originally going to get approved through our credit union, but she suggested another lender she knows and after doing our research, we ended up taking her advice and got a much better rate than what we had previously found.
