The home buying process is quite the challenge, especially in a seller's market, and she was so incredibly patient and understanding with us. I'm sure there were times when we were a bit much but her approach was to keep us focused on the long game certain the right property would come along, which it did! Ultimately I would and have recommended her since in that she's the complete package. Besides the properties she was able to recommend the best mortgage broker and even others for home warranty and repairs. She knows the business side well but I consider her a friend too and that's a fine combination.

We spoke and if at any point, there seemed to be an issue, we would nullify the contract. I was buying a condo with very specific requirements. The process was going to be quick, as it was to be a cash deal. She showed us a few homes and we decided on the Quiet pine unit. Made thte offer and heard back fairly quick that it was accepted. Sandee is a top notch realtor and I would recommend her to anyone who is serious about buying a home!

ZillowVERIFIED I met Sandee at a house she was showing another client, got her card, and contacted her a while later. She set up a meeting for us to go over our expectations of each other, which I thought was a great idea. We wrote down a list of things I was looking for in a house and she set me up with an online notifier of houses that fell in my price/need range. I would contact her with the houses I wanted to go see and we would go out and look. We really had fun looking at houses! She is very honest and would tell me the good/bad things about houses we saw. When we found "the" house, she was quick to call the listing agent and then sent me the documents to sign right away. Our offer was accepted, and the week before closing, the sellers agent told us that the house was in probate and we couldn't close on time. Sandee was great about getting me the proper paperwork to extend escrow TWICE, and very professional through the whole unfortunate situation. She even went to Probate Court to make sure no one else bid over my offer! As we walked out of the Courthouse, she was on the phone with my lender letting them know to start processing paperwork. Sandee was great to work with, great personality, great sense of humor, honest, and she genuinely cares about her clients. I would work with her again in a heartbeat, and wish her much success.

ZillowVERIFIED Sandee McDuffie was not a good match for my real estate needs. Although, she did help me find a home that was a match for the criteria I provided, during the purchasing process and after I moved into the property, there were issues that, in my opinion, were not handled in a manner which met my expectations. For example, she referred me to a single loan broker. In my opinion, I should have been referred to 2-3 loan providers so I could do some comparison shopping. I also think a little coaching on how to properly comparison shop for a loan would have been helpful. Another issue I had was that I felt she did not document an item in writing that turned out to be a point of confusion and ultimately a disappointment for me. It was something that should have been included in the sale but the sellers thought I wanted to have removed so they removed it and gave it away. Sandee's opinion on how this happened did not coincide with mine, and it appeared to me that she did not want to take any responsibility for the incident. For me, it could have been avoided if it had been put in writing. Another issue was a bedroom rug that I discovered to have strips of glue imbedded in the fibers when I moved in. There was no way to identify this during the home inspection because the glue was under a plastic floor mat. I notified Sandee as soon as I moved in but her advice was to hire a carpet cleaner. After having the carpet cleaned twice by a professional carpet cleaner, there was still a gummy glue imbedded in the carpet. She did not take any initiative to try to negotiate with the sellers to receive compensations for the carpet, which I will have to replace.
