ZillowVERIFIED Sam, Sammy, You Hick.....whatever you decide to call her - is one stupendous realtor and a beautiful person. We quickly became friends, mostly because of her great sense of humor and tireless work ethic. This woman goes far above and beyond what I expected to find in a realtor. We live 3 hours away from Owensboro so it was difficult to just drive back and forth to take care of the miscellaneous details. Sammy put herself at our disposal. She took care of handling anything and everything no matter how minute thus saving us many hours of being on the road. One example; going to the house late in the evening to make sure the filter had been put in the furnace and turn the heat on so the pipes wouldn't freeze. That had completely slipped my mind - she had contacted me and asked if I wanted her to drive out to the house and turn it on. Things like this might sound like little things to most people - but when the list went on and on, it added up to quite a bit of her spare time involved and again something I wasn't expecting. The best part was she was always so cheerful about it. Sure Sam wanted to sell the house for us but there is no doubt in my mind that this was not the reason she put forth so much extra effort. She is truly just that kind of person - the kind that cares about everyone that crosses her path regardless of whether they are buying/selling a house or not. I am so very impressed with this young lady. And an extra bonus - she had the house sold within three days. But that has nothing to do with how impressed I am. If you are looking to sell or buy a house in Owensboro Kentucky - you will not, in any way shape or form, ever regret having Samantha Jo Ray as your realtor. However she's very down to earth, I don't believe she's in it for sales nor is she pushy or dismissive, she's easy to talk to and get along with. I personally believe she loves helping people more than anything though and this is just the avenue she's found for doing that. We looked for a year an a half, she was there for us throughout the entire process, every question and every single house. I can't recommend her enough she really is the best!
